Enjoyed the gallery on Native American artifacts wished it was larger. In a great location the Browne addition if you enjoy looking at older homes worth the drive around the neighborhood.

This museum is in a residential neighborhood which I was not expecting. There is both a parking lot and on street parking. The museum itself is okay. It is mostly geared towards children and those who want to learn a lot about exploration of the west. I found the lower level about architecture to be the best part of the museum itself. The separate (but included in the price of the ticket) tour of the house next door was excellent. Many of the rooms retain their original decorations and furniture.

This museum is not to be missed for anyone who is interested in Plateau Native Americans as the collection is really impressive. Temporary exhibitions are very interesting, the shop though small is well stocked and finally, the middle eastern food at the café is delicious.

Excellent displays of native culture and northwest architecture. Historic and modern native arts. Rather eclectic mix of subjects.
