Love the Davenport Hotel. Stayed in the historic building. Love all the beautiful architectural details. Lets just say they do an excent job of making you feel special, at home and taken care of. The best place to stay in Spokane by far. We also had a yummy breakfast at the Palm Grill. The bed was comfortable and the shower was amazing. And, really for such a beautiful Hotel the price is reasonable. A must stay!

This hotel is by far the nicest in Spokane. Valet service goes out of their way to protect new cars for owners. Dog friendly too!! Our only complaint was no coffee makers in the rooms! Beds were incredibly comfortable. Be sure and spend some time walking the interiors and looking at old photos, as well as the remodeling process. Don't miss the Hall of Doges on the second floor. Take your camera! I wouldn't venture too far away from the hotel on foot at night. Not safe, especially for a solo walker.

I have long wanted to stay in the historic Davenport Hotel. This past weekend I did so as I was in Spokane for a family wedding. What could be better? The hotel is fabulous and the staff is amazing! The rooms are beautiful; very comfortable and spacious. The rain shower and deep tub were great surprises. The meals were delicious and the wait staff superb. There are only fresh flowers in the hotel and they are fabulous! Mr. Davenport would be so proud that the hotel is not only wonderful but also continues his tradition of incredible hospitality.

As a bonus, I accidently left my Kindle at the hotel. The outstanding staff had it back to me in the mail within two days.

We stayed at the tower, a beautiful lobby and room. Service was outstanding, especially a server named Brittney who went out of her way to get us a map of the city recommend restaurants in the area. We only could stay one night but would definitely come back again.

Room Tip: The tower is new but the other section looked beautiful .

Excellent place to stay. The view from our window wasn't the best but when you are located in downtown Spokane it is to be expected. The bed was comfortable, the walk-in shower was large and fantastic. Did not hear any outside noises. Would recommend staying here.

We stayed in the Tower and really enjoyed it. Parking is $15 with unlimited in and out privileges. That seemed a little high for the size of Spokane's downtown, but so it is. The Tower is done in a safari theme that actually stays classy. Apparently Mrs. Davenport liked safari stuff so she decorated the hotel in that manner. We asked; Spokane and safari don't go hand-in-hand for us, but it works. The elevators were fast and very clean. The room was well-appointed and very clean. We had a nice view of the downtown area and some hills in the background. It was very quiet. We enjoyed the cove-like, huge shower. The pool and spa were very nice, too. The gym looked nice but we didn't stop in. Oops. :) We ventured over to the original hotel and marveled at the lobby's beauty. This would be an awesome place to have a wedding! We didn't dine at any of the hotel's restaurants but they were all very lively and looked quite appetizing. This hotel deserves its #1 ranking on TA as it has 5 star amenities with a 3 star price tag.

The Davenport Hotel is breathtakingly beautiful. No expense was spared in restoring this turn of the century masterpiece for modern day travelers. However, two issues: the service was standard - nothing exceptional or above and beyond. From the check-in staff to staff on the floor. In addition, the noise level was extreme. We stayed in a suite on a high floor. We expected the solid brick building would have been quiet. Very unexpected to have so much noise from rooms above, next door and the outside noise (trains passing, cars). Having said that - if you do not have problems falling asleep with a high noise level - worth the stay.
