“Really Good Discounted”

Really nice clean stay. Some updated features like the bathroom with a nice large marble-like counter for toiletries.

Can have a distance to walk from one building to another to get to the front desk and no elevators but only two level building.

Rooms that give you a glimpse of the river and view of tennis court not bad.

Not too far from downtown and shopping malls on either side of hotel.

At $59-$69 a good deal but no more. Good for 1-2 night stay.

The rooms have been remodeled recently, but the outside of the hotel and grounds need some serious TLC. The real problem here is the staff. I'm not sure there is much training done here. After a late night, we were awakened by the maid at 8:00 am. wanting to clean our room. That was slightly annoying, but not as much as the guy who decided to vacuum the hallway directly outside our room 10 minutes later. Up and down the hallway he went and finally I got up and told him some guests just might still be sleeping... I was pretty much ignored because he was engaged in deep conversation with another employee...and the vacuuming continued, as well as much loud talking and laughing from several employees from the housekeeping staff who seemed to gather there. Party outside of room 115!!! Woohoo! They didn't seem too concerned about it, and not at all considerate. There were other problems with the front desk staff as well... but I'm running out of room. Anyway, I'm not a picky or snooty traveller, and I don't expect to be treated like a king at the Red Lion, but a little consideration would be nice.

Nice accomodations. Rooms were great, very comfortable beds, and the restaurant had amazing deals! I would definately stay there again!

The hotel has recently gone through some renovations, and the rooms were quite nice. The beds were divine! There are a lot of outdoor facilities (tennis court, swimming pool) which we were not able to use since it is winter, but they looked nice. My only small beef is that the facility is very spread out. It is like wandering through a maze, and our room was at the very end--took several minutes to walk from the lobby. No elevator to the second floor which is only a minimal annoyance. The place was full, and we never heard people in other rooms and only occasionally in the hallway. A great place to stay for the price!

I stayed at the River Inn because my son and I were attending a College Preview Day at Gonzaga University. The hotel is adjacent to the campus and worked out perfectly. The hotel provides complimentary airport shuttle service. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We ate dinner at the restaurant which didn't have a great selection. Breakfast was better, but pricey.

I'd stay again if my son attends Gonzaga.

We stayed at the Red Lion River Inn because of its proximity to Gonzaga University. Our experience was great, the rooms look renovated, granite touches and a bit of a "tuscan" feel. We were in building II with a parking lot view :-) We didn't hear any issues in the parking lot, but then it was a Sunday eve -Tuesday morning stay; maybe there's more activity on the weekends.
The building door did not require a room key for entry, even though it said you needed one; meaning anyone could come in and wander the halls. I though maybe the door would be locked at dusk but we came back late both evenings and it was not locked.
Our room rate included $10 coupons for breakfast. We ate two mornings at Riples and one evening meal. The food was great and the prices were reasonable. I would recommend the restaurant. The only issue was the second morning where they didn't have enough wait help.

Where to begin...We arrived to a parking lot that made us uncomfortable, not well policed or patrolled. Upon checking in we went to our room to find that there was a six pack cooking in the sink, surprise the room was occupied. We were than given a second room that had not been serviced. The third room was acceptable, but when we came back with our bags it had been given to other guests. The fourth room was fine. Throught out all of this we asked to see the manager, who was "occupied, schmoosing travel agents". By the time we got our room, there were no dining options so we had to re-experience "The Hood" which was also known as the parking lot. The next afternoon we returned to find that our room had not been made up, and housekeeping was gone. We stamped our feet sufficiently that the room was eventually made up. Whenever we went to the desk, it was like they had no idea who we were or what was going on. I spoke to the Manager, or who they said was the Manager and he was unaware of any problems.

Although we were booked for five nights, we cut and ran the next morning to another property and had a much better experience.

I have traveled extensively, and this was without a doubt the worst experience I had ever been subjected to. The property is just flat worn out, the towels would be pitched out at a car wash or maybe that was where they were procured.

Will we be back, not a chance. Would we recommend the property, not a chance. Have we kept this a secret, not a chance.

I have traveled extensively
