Hotel Lusso is an excellent boutique hotel. The bathroom is very spacious. I was looking into Davenport, but the price difference was substantial. Location is equivalent to Davenport, with a lot less cost.
Don't miss the happy hour in the adjacent bar. Dishes are half off, with a lot of food. The cheese plate is great.
Would definately return and plan to stay here when I return for work in Spokane.

Having stayed at numerous hotels in the Spokane area including the Davenport I would say that the Hotel Lusso would now be my top choice. It is in a wonderful location downtown close to shopping and great bars and restaurants. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly and the room to be very clean with a large bathroom. Our room faced a street but we didn't notice too much noise except for a service truck early on morning. We love the Davenport also but the price at the Lusso is much better and valet parking is less. Would highly recommend this hotel.

A nice, smaller and somewhat less expensive alternative to the grand old Davenport across the street. The hotel restaurant, Fugazzi, isn't bad..but do yourself a favor and eat at Moxie next door. Yum!

My husband and I needed to run away from home, had stayed at the Lusso previously and loved it.

I called to make the reservation and the young woman that answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. The Penthouse wasn't available, so she put us in the next room down, the Limited, I believe.

We arrived, the Valet was fabulous, the Front Desk staff was great and we headed up to the room. On first glance, it was lovely. Sitting room right inside the door, long hallway to the bedroom, nicely appointed bathroom...all seemed well.

We went out for drinks (at Bluefish - awesome!) and went a few doors down to Moxie's for dinner (amazing!) then headed to the hotel bar for a nightcap. We went back to the room and went to bed...bad idea. The bed was either very old, or broken. The king-size bed was like sleeping in a hammock. The air conditioner ran all night - blowing directly on us and there was no way to turn it off.

The towels in the bathroom were tattered, strings hanging off of them, there was only one hand towel and it looked like the items on the counter had been there awhile. The hairdryer worked, but only if you messed with the cord to keep it on.

If the rest of the rooms at this hotel are the same, they are in desperate need of a MAJOR overhaul. They claim to be one of the Small Luxury Hotels, but they need to do a bit of sprucing up to be considered Luxury.

Hotel Lusso is in the downtown area of Spokane and is a fairly non-descript building externally. Once inside, the hotel improves and the rooms are nicely furnished and the bathrooms are very spacious and the entire room was very clean. One nice touch is a hotel courtesy car which will drop you to the city's restaurants and pick you up again so you can have a drink.

We would have really enjoyed staying here however the street noise outside the hotel was dreadful. A mixture of the downtown bars throwing out around midnight to 1am followed by the rubbish bins being emptied at 3.15am (!) meant a really disturbed night, perhaps a room at the rear of the hotel would have been better!

We stayed in a King room, much larger than the std queen, on the corner of Sprague and Post. I didn't seem to have a problem with the bus line on Sprague as mentioned in other reviews. The complimentary wine was fine (they mentioned they changed recently so maybe that's why I didn't seem to think it was that bad?). The small lounge was a fun place to relax before going out to nearby destinations. The cheese plate is huge! If you go during happy hour, you can get quite a bit for the money. The food served in the lounge looked spectacular. The wait staff was excellent and I didn't have any issues with them. I'm wondering what hotel the others' here stayed at? The only thing that was less than perfect was the continental breakfast but that's not a big issue with me since continental breakfasts are usually not much for food. No hot food other than waffles (no eggs/meat dishes), although the coffee was excellent. The cookies were also very good (the chocolate chip was better than the oatmeal). Overall, I say this place is worth staying at. I got a discount on the room ($139/night) so I was very pleased with my stay. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Our stay at the Hotel Lusso was very enjoyable. The service from all was very attentive and pleasant, the complimentary wine in the evening was appreciated, the complimentary breakfast was good in that there were many choices, the room was nicely decorated and had a luxury feel with the decor and the high ceilings, the towels were sumptuous, the linens were comfortable, and the whole place was quiet, cool, clean, and a pleasure to come back to at the endof a day.
We stayed 3 nights and would like to have stayed longer. We would definitely go back.
