Description: In July of 2010, Chef Anna Vogel and Operations Manager Bethe Bowman opened Italia Trattoria, a lively, regionally inspired Italian restaurant in historic Browne’s Addition just west of downtown Spokane. Chef Anna’s commitment to cooking seasonally with the finest local produce and artisan products available from Italy and the Pacific Northwest has differentiated Italia Trattoria from any other restaurant in Spokane. The menu has an eclectic mix of house made pastas, meats and fresh fish, salads and soups, and breakfast dishes on weekends. Our menu changes seasonally while offering some of our house favorite dishes year around. The menu is complimented by a well-received wine list with a primary focus on Italian producers and some local Northwest wines. We offer a full service bar with hand crafted martinis, barrel aged cocktails, fresh squeezed juices, and the best espresso in town. Whether you are in the mood for our grilled rack of wild boar with sweet potato gnocchi, a house made squid ink fettuccine with spicy wild shrimp, our charred octopus salad, the best meatballs in town, or our city wide famous zeppole doughnuts or tiramisu, come dine with us.

We have eaten here a few times and have never been disappointed. Love the specials, amazing food. The patio makes it the cream of the crop. The eclectic neighborhood provides some world class people watching, worth the drive from CdA. Such a menu, nothing like it in Spokane. Thanks for being here, and giving me a real option for amazing creative food.

We had an amazing meal here. We started with beef focaccia pizza (a must have!) and chick pea frites. Both were delicious and piping hot. Next was a Caesar salad and then we had lamb ragu and the goat cheese ravioli. The ravioli was very good, though not excellent. The ragu knocked it out of the park.

We had incredible cocktails to start, a great bottle of bubbles, and some lovely port. Great selection of cocktails and wine, and our server, Jessie, was great.

A must-visit restaurant in Spokane!

We came to this restaurant because of the reviews and it was 1 block away from our B&B, the Roberts Mansion.
Everything was to our satisfaction, the quality of the food, prep, service and ambiance.
This was our second restaurant to visit during our short stay on Spokane and the Trattoria came through with flying colors. Please consider this excellent Trattoria if you live in or come to visit Spokane. Although they have tables on the Patio, it was too sunny to dine there in the evening, so we went inside.
Trattoria has the skills and desire to make your evening most enjoyable.

With the front "garage doors" up, the restaurant looks out onto a quiet street. Our friendly waitress explained the menu, and suggested the Copper River Salmon. We both had the house red, quite good, and the goat cheese salad to start. The salad was excellent, as was the bread and oil/balsamic vinegar dip. The salmon was excellent, grilled perfectly with just a hint of spice. The bed of creamy mashed potatoes added to the meal. My New Zealand venison was sliced, tender, and delicious. Both our plates were moderate sized, with appealing presentation. We had the grilled cornmeal cake for dessert-unique, good, not outstanding.
For the above meal with 3 glasses of house wine with tax, tip, $125.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were looking forward to eating here. It is a quaint restaurant in an interesting part of Spokane

However my pasta dish was very ordinary. I t was not handmade pasta. Our drinks which were Arnold Palmers were made with fresh lemonade with out removing the seeds which were plentiful. To be fair my companions enjoyed their sandwich. There was nothing creative or interesting about my meal.
