“Gorgeous Rapids”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2014

Amazing rapids and waterfalls run right through the heart of the city. It is a lovely walk in the park. There is a gondola ride to get closer to the rapids, as well as a 30 minute tram ride to tour the park, with a combination ticket price. The gondola ride is fun, but not necessary to see the rapids.

“You can learn a lot by going here, and it's fun too!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 3, 2014

I went here with my family just last summer on a week-long vacation. Riverfront was my absolute favorite place to be. I loved the bridges and the sky trams that took you over the river. There was a concert of sorts going on and a parade on the street next to the park so it was packed with tourists and other people. There was also a plethora of food and shopping around the park so there was always something to do. The only thing I can suggest is that in the park, there is a giant steel butterfly-shaped statue that they used to decorate during the time of the World's Fair but they don't anymore. I recommend that they do. It would be so beautiful with the garden underneath it.

“Romance and wonder”

Thank you Spokane for keeping the park improving and safe. Delightful with a smattering of activities, quiet spaces, snacks and a couple of rides. All along the Spokane river with City lights glimmering in the evening.

“Forestry Shelter Wedding Reception”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2014

What a fabulous venue for a wedding reception! My son and his bride had their reception at the Forestry Shelter in Riverfront Park and it was perfect. Defined spaces for eating, dancing, or just sitting and visiting by the fire made it enjoyable for every guest.
