Owner description: With one of the best urban falls in the nation, Riverfront Park's ideal downtown location that is surrounded by the Spokane River offers a variety of activities from biking the Centennial trail, walking paths, attractions such as a 1909 Looff Carrousel and Gift Shop, SkyRide Over the Falls, IMAX Theatre, Tour Train, Amusement Rides and an outdoor covered ice rink make this park a destination. The Red Wagon and Rotary Interactive Fountain provide hours of fun. With plenty of easy parking, the region's best events are also hosted on this 100 acre green space including Hoopfest (World's Largest 3 on 3 basketball tournament), Bloomsday Road Race, 4th of July Celebration, Pig Out in the Park Food and Music Festival and many more. The Spokane Convention Center, Spokane Arena, RiverPark Square, many downtown eateries and hotels border the park making this a great place to visit. The Sculpture Walk also highlights the best art in Spokane.

Beautiful park in the heart of downtown. There's lots to do here for the entire family. The park is along the Centennial Trail, which is a paved trail that runs all the way to Coeur d’Alene (it's technically two trails, but they run together). The World's Fair was held here in 1974, so a lot of the attractions still exist. There's a small midway, a skyride, an indoor carousel, a big wagon/play area, as well as numerous statues. There are also bridges that give you great views of the falls downtown.

Very nice, clean and family oriented. This park represents Spokane in the best light. The carousel is just loads of fun.

Lots to see with lots of walking, running, or bikes on marked paths. The town is all around so you can grab a beer or some food at any time.

Riverfront park is especially beautiful at this time of year. The falls are at their height and the trees are all in bud. This is a family friendly park with walking and bike trails, picnic grounds, and beautiful views and sounds of the falls all around. It weaves through through the heart of downtown

The park is right in downtown, and is used in all seasons. In spring, you have to walk across the bridge and stop in the middle to experience the thunder of the falls below you. In winter, take someone ice skating at the rink. You can watch a show at the IMAX, take the kids to the rides at the park, ride a horse on one of the oldest carousels in existence, have a picnic while feeding the ducks, take a train ride around the park, or ride the gondola across the rivers' waterfall. The island was used as an Indian meeting place for many years before Spokane was built, and you can stand near the totem pole and imagine what it was like to gather here without a cityscape. My favorite sculptures in town are on the south side of the park- runners in metal, turning the corner across from the mall. I smile every time I drive by them.
