The Spokane Convention Center, Spokane Arena, RiverPark Square, many downtown eateries and hotels border the park making this a great place to visit. The Sculpture Walk also highlights the best art in Spokane.

We love to take guests from out of the area here, they want to go again & comment on how much they enjoyed the visit . Its an inexpensive way to entertain friends year round. Its downtown so you can shop, eat, play & sightsee without running all over town. The river of course is a big attraction especially during the spring run off. How many cities have this scenic wonder flowing through them ? Fun fun fun

This is a great place to relax after a day of walking around downtown Spokane. There is a waterpark for the kids during the summer months. Access to the canyon cable car ride can be found here. There is a small skating rink during the winter months and it's a good place to take in a IMAX movie on a rainy day. Lots of ducks and various breeds of geese can be seen.

This area is beautiful and has so much to see! We love walking through it during the daytime, but avoid it at night. If you do go during the night, it's safer if you have several people with you!

Everyone should visit this park when visiting the Inland Northwest! The views overlooking the river falls are spectacular especially in the spring after the snow pack melts. There are many things to do in the park including a huge red wagon slide that kids of all ages really should try at least once. The park also sponsors events throughout the year, from Hoop Fest to ice skating. Close to shopping and restaurants make it very worth while.

However, the park is often overrun with homeless who literally occupy the park shelters. The homeless problem has kept us from returning even though we are local. On a positive spin, there is always plenty of metered parking.
