This is a beautiful place all year round especially in the spring when the flowers are all blooming and the ducks are back. I did get a gnarly goose bite but it was all in fun. Beautiful to walk around and smell the lilacs and see the falls. It was a great way to spend the weekend!!!!

“Lovely park by the river”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

We mainly just walked through the park on our way from the Red River Inn to Downtown, but the kids enjoyed the Radio Flier slide and walking along the banks of the river. They also enjoyed the carousel, which we all rode on before watching the St Patricks day parade roll right by.

“Fun, quick family-friendly attraction”
Reviewed March 9, 2013

After a late lunch at Luigi's, head down a couple blocks to park and enjoy the carosel. It's from 1909, and a great place for families. We enjoyed it more than the one at Disneyland for it's historic charm, views of water instead of packed crowds lined up in the heat, and the fact that it was fast and fun! Boy does it go! I was surprised by spead and smoothness!

What a great place!

“love it.”
Reviewed March 7, 2013

Love the area. Beautiful river. Fun for the kids, lots of entertainment, rides, music, gondolas, I max, train, carrosel, and the fairly new water feature, Sure to be lot's of fun for all, especially in the summer. The only downfall is not enough public restrooms close by.

“A nice little park right in downtown”
Reviewed February 24, 2013

This park is a great place for a lunchtime stroll or run. It travels along the Spokane River and you can get some excellent views of the Spokane Falls. You'll also often hear birds chirping and such even though the park is right in the middle of downtown Spokane.

There are a few attractions left over from when Spokane hosted the World's Fair, but really the best time to visit the park as someone coming in from out of town is when there is some kind of event going on (Pig Out in the Park or the 3 on 3 basketball tournament, for example).
