We haven't been on the trail for 20 plus years. We were so happy to have a chance, though limited, to be back on the trail. Looking forward to many more miles.

I rode the Centennial Trail from downtown Spokane to just past Post Falls, Idaho. Much of the trail is very beautiful as it winds beside the Spokane River. However, once I got into Idaho, the trail got a lot less pretty. In fact, stretches were downright ugly. The trail surface was better maintained in Idaho than in Washington though. It explains the larger number of cyclists on the Washington side of the trail. Next time, I will have to try the trail all the way out to Coeur d’Alene .

This is a Great day trail to walk; beautifull views and very accessable. Amazing how much Spokane has to offer; kind of a hidden NW Gem!

What a great multi-use path.
I rode it on my road bike, from Spokane Valley Mall area, (my hotel was close by), out East to the State Line, and back.
Great ride!

Seen families on their bikes, roller blades, bikes of all styles & runners.

Spokane has outdone itself with this trail, I wish we had something 1/2 as good back home.

Late evenings get real busy, as it cools down it seems.

We only pedaled 17 miles of the trail, but we enjoyed it very much. It is a bit tricky navigating the Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane, but after getting through that area, we did well. The summer heat wax intense, nearing 100 degrees, so we cut our ride short.
