“Life along the River District is nice ...”
Reviewed November 8, 2012

I moved to this area recently and having the Trail close allows regular bike rides and walks away from traffic and with GREAT fresh air :))

There are some who apparently believe that when they are on the Trail, we all should get out of their way - but most folks share the trail well with others who bike, walk, run, roller-blade, baby-stroll and even wheelchair.

I love it here!

“Lovely walking/jogging trail along the river”
Reviewed October 29, 2012

Many joggers use the path, but it's also a great way to see the Spokane River and the Spokane Falls. I'm only familiar with the parts of the trail around Gonzaga, but there it's wide, paved, and well-maintained. And the Falls are truly spectacular, even at the end of summer! They'd really be amazing in the late spring. I think this trail (and Riverfront Park) is one of the best things about Spokane.

“Wonderful trail through Spokane”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

This trail is great. It can be a long walk or bike ride for those who want to, or smaller shorter segments for those who don't. It gets very congested by Riverfront Park but some wonderful , peaceful areas farther east by the river.

“Nice trail”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

Well maintained, but not well lit at all for evening walks. Parts of the Trail give you a very nice view of the Spokane River. Accessible at many locations, including easy access located behind hotels (i.e., Oxford Suites, Marriott Residence Inn) which are located along the River in Spokane Valley.

“Great trail for biking and walking”
Reviewed October 11, 2012

We love to ride along the Centennial trail. Better in the mornings as there is increased family traffic later in the day.
