The hotel was nicely decorated and the beds were wonderful. The hotel overall was an excellent choice for the conference attendees since it is connected to the convention center. The hotel had a shuttle for airport runs and short trips close to the hotel. One restaurant only open for breakfast and another open for lunch and dinner.

This was a very nice hotel. We were in town for a long weekend and had wanted to stay at the Davenport Hotel, where we had stayed before, but it was booked. This hotel was a nice alternative. It was conveniently located as part of the convention center. Obviously, if you are in town for a convention, this is the place to stay.

Having said that, check to see what conventions are in town before you book this hotel. It can make for some interesting site seeing. The weekend that we stayed there, there was Kuro Niko con (anime comicon), Job's Daughters International Supreme Convention (an organization sponsored by the Masons), and the Sunday service for the Pinnacle Church. There was some interesting people watching in the lobby!

We found the room to be clean and spacious with little noise from the hall. We did find it difficult to sleep with the air conditioning constantly clicking on and off. On Monday morning, there was the sound of construction and construction vehicles as the convention center is expanding. Try to opt for a room on the south side of the building that faces the parking lot. This should minimize your construction noise. If you opt for a cooler month, the air conditioner should be a non issue as well.

Happy travels!

Room Tip: Request the south side of the hotel on an upper floor. The river side has the better views, but the...

The hotel is very nice and clean. The beds are comfortable. The location is great, walkable to most places. The parking is a different because you have to park in the adjacent conference center's parking lot. The staff was efficient. The stay was very pleasant.

Room Tip: Higher floor are quieter.

Clean rooms, great staff and my five night stay was all that I could expect. Very comfortable stay. I was attending a conference and the Hotel Staff did a great job handling the large number of residence. Thank you for a very positive experience.

We really enjoyed our stay. Excellent location. Nice room with very comfortable beds. Employees Tyler (front desk) and Reba (Shutters Café) deserve special recognition for their warm, friendly, yet professional demeanor. Their attitudes along with some other staff helped to make our stay extra pleasant.

While front desk were nice I feel they could of explained questions a little more. Like I asked about parking after getting key (they did not offer info) she just told me where it was, I had to call back after parking to ask how they tie it to the room and when I asked where something was they would simply say what floor it was. At other hotels they explain things upon check in.

Great staff, good wi-fi, comfy bed. Rooms are a bit shabby and could use an update. All in all, though, a decent place to stay. Great location, walkable to Riverfront Park and excellent restaurants. Check out Herbal Essence for an amazing dining experience.
