This hotel is right by the convention center. Which is very convenient if you are going there or downtown. We were there for a dance competition at the convention center, so we could just walk to it. The hotel was clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We had breakfast at Shutters Cafe in the hotel. Good food and great waitress, but kind of expensive, $14 for buffet. We are used to continental breakfasts for free. The rooms were fine but the heating system was very loud. We had to pay $12 for the parking garage but it is right next to the hotel, so easy to get to. They offered us valet parking for the same price, since we had handicapped parking. Hard to find the fitness room hidden on the 3rd floor and the pool is hidden outside down the stairway below the fitness area. No hotel map to find either one! There was a refrigerator in the room, hidden in the dresser/TV cabinet, no microwave. I would only stay there again if we needed to be by the convention center.

The view from our room was wonderful. There was some kind of litle girls gymnastics competition going on. Cart Wheels oll over the lobby. We thought the breakfast rates were a bit unreasonable. I don't think free just reasonable. The staff was very nice and our room was ready we will probably stay again. Thanks

The hotel is nice, aside from the smell of chicken soup in the halls. THe rooms are clean, the beds are comfy, there is a nice vierw, and a great central location. But beware of the bathrooms, it was so bad I had to force myself to shower. Never in my life have I had to contemplate the pros and cons of showering and not showering.

Thank you for sharing feedback about your recent stay here in Spokane. I was sorry to see the comments about our bathroom and the smell of soup in the hallway. As I mentioned in my correspondence with you directly, I inspected the room and will be working with my housekeeping and maintenance department on addressing the issue. The odor in the hallway was not present and was likely from another guests room service order or perhaps even making their own soup.

Again, my apologies for any inconvenience and I do appreciate the comments about our location being convenient and pleasant. If your travels bring you back to the area I hope you will consider staying with us again.

The hotel is located between the convention center and the INB. You must pay to park at the hotel. Either self park in the garage or valet. I would have chosen valet except that when you arrive at the front of the hotel the valet spots are located right outside the main entrance. No protection from the elements and my own personal opinion not worth extra money to see the attendant walk less than 50ft to your car. The hotel is nice and light. I was disappointed not to get a river view but the room was nice. The only problem with the room is the bathroom was basic and seemed dated. The shower curtain was torn at the top. We had a corner king room. And the heater did not seem to perform as it should. It seemed to not be designed for the size room we had, plus the surround wall of windows, we were cold. What little of the staff I saw were very nice. Overall. Not a bad hotel but nothing spectacular.

Room Tip: to make it value for money make sure to ask for the river view if available. The view from the other...

The location is great; one block from Riverfront Park and within walking distance to the mall and restaurants. The Convention Center is right next door. The parking garage is shared. Was not too happy about paying a $12 a night parking fee, but we figured we didn't have to drive and pay parking elsewhere. The first disappointment was when we saw the pool and hot tub were outdoors and it was snowing. Wish we could have used them…The front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful; even gave us warm cookies. Once we got to out room, we noticed the bathroom was falling apart and the room was pretty small for being a King room. The worst part was the heater that sounded like a train going by every 10 minutes…. We put up with it for part of the night and eventually gave up and turned it off as it was keeping us awake. We were cold most of the night, but it was better than the annoying noise. Overall the location is great and the staff is great. They just need some major updating and get rid of the noisy heater...

Clean, quiet, comfortable stay. Good location to business in convention center. Treated very well from staff. Enjoyed my stay. Stay on higher floors if you want a view. Beds were very comfortable and quiet.

The wife and I both felt a little weird staying at a hotel less than 15 miles from home, but we purchased our stay at our kid's school auction and decided to treat ourselves to an early Valentine evening getaway. $12 parking was validated. There is valet service available for $20+. The front desk staff was very friendly and professional. Perhaps we're used to staying at a little lower end hotels, but we were a little disappointed that a free continental breakfast was not available -- everything is a la carte for a fancy price. We were out late on Friday evening so checked in late and basically headed to bed and didn't take advantage of or utilize any other amenities. We were satisfied with our stay. Walkin distance from Azteca Mexican and Chili's restaurants as well as the Main Market, a local, organic grocer and deli co-op.

Room Tip: We had a 9th floor corner room which was very quiet and overlooked the river and Riverfront Park.
