We had just driven for four straight days and we were very tired. We arrived and the staff were great. They gave us a very large quiet room at the back of the Inn. It was wonderful. It had a microwave and fridge and a large bathroom. The bed was so comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor pool that has a cover to protect the users from the sun. Parking is easy and it is close to restaurants. There was a good breakfast with a good variety. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again when in Spokane.

Before I begin, we are longtime Choice Hotel patrons and plan to continue our support of the chain. I am in a manual wheelchair full-time. This particular motel is an older building converted for ADA accomodations. But if Room 106 is typical, the effort falls way short: A wheelchair can not fit under the bathroom sink so one has to sit sideways next to the counter, the bathroom mirror is too high so I could see only the top of my head, the Continental Breakfast room is too small and crowded to accomodate a wheelchair [so we didn't even try to enter the room], the ADA parking spots are on a slope, and the entrance to the motel is sloped from the drive way to the front door making unassisted entry very difficult with no power doors.

The pluses are the motel's location to two very close restaurants, lots of hot water, and fine water pressure, and large rooms [ We brought my scooter into the room for charging and was not crowded. ]

True to the room listing, there was no micro-wave and fridge. The bed is smaller than a Queen Sized bed.

If one has two good legs, likes a bed smaller than a Queen, and can handle an elbow to elbow setting for breakfast, it is not a bad place to stay.

We stayed at both Comfort Inns in Spokane in the same week, 2 nights each time, on different legs of our trip.
Don't bother with this one! If you're going by location, it is worth the extra drive, stay in the one downtown! They're only between 15 and 30 min between the 2.
They are owned by separate people which is why there is a significant difference....but they're the same price for a room with 2 queen beds and a rollaway.
What's different about this North one? (Remember, downtown is better!)
1. Nothing to move your luggage with. "I can help you bring it in if you want." (With no movement, indicating she finds this very inconvenient.)
2. No refrigerator or microwave in the room. But wait! Someone told me at breakfast that their room had both and they didn't pay extra...did I mention we had reservations? They didn't mention on the phone that not all the rooms had these. Of course we would have wanted them!
3. You can't turn on the bathroom light without turning on the fan. If you aren't traveling alone, you just may wake up the family.
4. No guide to tell you which t.v. stations are which numbers, just search randomly.
5. No elevator.
6. Run down.
7. Pool is outdoor only - sounds nice on a hot day, but it really wasn't as nice as the indoor, or as big.
8. Hot tub is not by the pool, and they don't bother to tell you where it is. We only discovered it accidently, it isn't where you'd walk by unless your room was down that way, same with the weight room. We thought the pool had neither.
9. Yay, there's a video game room...and wow am I glad that I didn't have a room in one of their floor 1 (below lobby) because those games were so loud. Must admit I did like playing Galaga for 25 cents per game.
10. The breakfast room is tiny! It was less than 1/4 of the size of the one downtown. Seriously, the hotel room was bigger.
11. The breakfast wasn't nearly as good. If you're wondering, we were at both locations on weekdays.
12. There are lots of entrances to be closer to your hotel room, but they'll lock so don't forget your key or you're walking all the way around the building.
I've stayed at Motel 6's that are much nicer. I don't have anything against Motel 6, but I have something against paying for more and getting less.
I was not overly impressed with the Comfort Inn in the downtown location either. (Our room smelled like cigarettes after we'd been gone all afternoon and had left the windows closed, yet they deny that the maid smoked in there. None of us smoke.) But it was the equivalent of $50/night better than the North Comfort Inn for the same price.

We have stayed here on several occasions. The desk help has invariably been friendly and efficient. Little problems that arise are resolved promptly and effectively. The rooms are quiet and clean. The beds are comfortable.

On the down side, internet reception can be a little spotty.

Pretty much everything you would expect from a Comfort Inn

But don't feel it made up for the accommodations, the room was dark and gloomy. The fan in the bath was controlled by the same switch as the fan. The fan was so noicey that we had to shower in the dark. As for breakfast there are many good restaurants in the area.
