“Beautiful grounds and nice, clean room”
Reviewed August 5, 2012 via mobile

The Inn really is an inn, with narrow hallways and frilly decorations. There are newer cabin-style buildings which seemed to attract families. The room I had was on the ground floor and as someone else mentioned, you can hear every footstep above you, as well as showers in the room next to you. The payoff for ground floor is that it stays cooler and needs less of the AC, which was quiet, but smelled a little "humid.". The highlight was the grounds -- huge lawn broken up by rockeries and a generous amount of adirondack chairs grouped in the various parts of the garden. They have lovely beach access with chairs on the beach. Both nights I was there, after a great steak at Don's Restaurant, I relaxed in a chair on the lawn and watched the other guests and the sunset.

Stayed here for 2 nights July 8 2012. Room was very clean and grounds are well looked after. The private beach in front of the hotel is a plus. Lots of beach chairs. Lake was lovely and warm - you can walk out a long way in really shallow water.

For a nice meal try the Family Diner - nothing fancy but a really good Turkey Club sandwich served exactly the way it was ordered.

Would definitely return.

Always a great place to stay at a reasonable price. Very clean, great staff and comfortable beds. I would have rated a five star, but the overnight stay was somewhat noisy from the street and the morning shower head did not function correctly. But, we will stay again in the future.

Great rooms with mineral water soaking tubs. Wonderful room decor and a bed almost as good as mine. Spotlessly clean and a wonderful staff. Pleasant location with beach access. Walking distance to dining and entertainment. A "must stay" lodging in the area.

Room Tip: Upper floor rooms have no one walking above you.

Nice place, good location. We loved private beach, and not to deal with public lake access. We had no problems, our room was clean, staff was nice and we left this place feeling relaxed and rested.

The Inn at Soap Lake is clean & comfortable. It is reasonably priced & worth it to rent one of their Jacuzzi Suites during winter to soak & get away from home. They have a kitchen with small stove, microwave, small fridge & a charcoal BBQ on the patio for your use. Just a heads up, there is not much to do in this town except to soak in the mineral water & if there is a show at the local live theater. Mom's European Deli was a fun shop to visit where they serve European style sandwiches, made with fresh baked bread. If you eat there, they serve you Russian Tea with sugar cubes. They sell European candies and other goodies there. If it's not out of the way, it's very worth it to see "Dry Falls" which is about an hour away.

Room Tip: Jacuzzi Suites are worth it because you get a little more privacy

I am usually a drive through type person with little travel itinerary. The lateness of the oncoming evening put me in Soap Lake. Didn't know anything about the place but found out is has some mineral mud or something like that which attracts tourist. Also learned they are seeking donations to erect a large Lava Lamp in town center. There even is a sign posting where it will stand once the money rolls in. (I'm not making this up, really, I'm not. http://www.giantlavalamp.com/)

Anyway, the Soap Lake Inn is a charming, clean inn. The room was very large complete with coffee maker, frig and I think a microwave. Bath is also large and modern. The Innkeeper was pleasant.
