This was my husband and my first time here and were very pleased with our experience. We ordered meals that are our "comfort foods" and loved them. We also were greeted by multiple staff members and felt like we mattered. Thank you for the great experience.

while yes the food was great and the place was clean everything I would enjoy in a resteruant exept for the fact that the owner was whining to the customers and talking about the road construcion and how bad it is for buisness. and how they put thousands of dollars into opening this buisness and now people are cancelling there reservations and how she has been fighting with the city about it. From what I can see there is plenty of parking around just people have to walk a little further for a great meal. and most people will and do. most owners realize that there there attitude rubes off on there employees and there customers and will run them all off. my advise to the owner. do like every one else in down town does and suck it up and wait it out. it will get better.

This is a brand-new restaurant in Old Snoqualmie, directly across from the historic train depot. The owners have previous restaurant experience, so we have the benefit of people who know their business, and are not learning at our expense. They were in Pittsburgh and FL for the past 20 years. They took over the location of along-established Mexican restaurant, and because they put their money where it counts, upgrading the kitchen, we have to suffer the previous décor. Not for long, I hope!
Being open less than two weeks, we only have a single lunch for a sample, but I love the menu, and can't wait to visit more. This trip, my wife had the Media Noche, which is a Cuban midnight sandwich. I had the Rabbi Rueben. Both were excellent. The sides we tried were french fries and horseradish cole slaw. The fries were a touch overdone for my taste, but the slaw was perfect if you like it not saturated in mayo and with a little kick; and we do! Their East Coast exposure means we see items Pittsburgh Pierogies, Coral Gable Crab Cakes, and Havana Spicy Black Bean Soup. Us locals have Seahawks Pesto Crusted Salmon, and there are quite a few vegetarian choices. This is full-service lunch and dinner, although there is going to be a brunch offered soon. While I partook of no alcohol this meal, there is a full bar (mojito anyone?) and a lot of craft beer options, as well as wine. The drink menu is your placemat, so you have choices!
The most expensive entree is $18.95, so this should make it both budget- and family-friendly. This appears to be the ultimate comfort-food place, and I look forward to my next visit.
