Friendly staff, good menu, nice place to hang out with friends. We liked the sliders and chicken wings. Good beer selection.

Been here twice now. The Shepard's pie is 70% dry mashed potato. The meat and veggies below has no gravy what so ever. It was so dry that I needed water to wash it down. AVOID.

The Reuben was decent. Generous meat and not overly messy. A 4 out of 5 stars for this.

Beef stew was OK. Not disappointing with adequate flavor.

Ambience was fine. Nice dark wood. Fine for a pint after work but not a dinner out place.

We've been to Finaughty's probably 4 times in as many years. Once for drinks only, the others for food and drink. In the past, the food has been pretty bad and the menu kind of weird. On one trip I ordered a long island ice tea thinking that at least that would offset the food if it hadn't improved. That was a mistake as it was full of whiskey and I don't know what else. Over the Christmas holiday we once again made our annual visit. While the menu still has what I think of as weird items (food combinations) and they don't have a hamburger on the menu in a pub, the food was 100% better than any other trip. So now we will be making the trip more than once a year.

We're trying to cut back so we've been splitting food when we go out. But i love housemade chips and had to try them. My partner in crime ordered the chicken curry pot pie. I'm pretty skeptical about stuff like so i said i'd share knowing he would probably end up eating it all. The chips were good. Not above average for housemade chips (what can you do with deep fried potatoes, right?) but really good and they had two housemade dips that were really good. But that pot pie turned out to be PHENOMENAL! The chicken was huge chuncks of breast meat, carefully trimmed in house, no gristle, no unidentifiable anything, celery, carrots, tators and a curry sauce that burst with flavor and brought it altogether without being so spicy you cant eat it! We thought about ordering more to go for dinner! Kedra was a great server and when we raved about the pot pie she sent Bob, the chef, out to receive the compliment personally. The presentation was cool with a clover theme in the pastry top on the pie. More TVs than you can shake a stick at. Highly recommend.
