So gorgeous but wish the trails had been open. The mist from the falls blew into our faces which was incredibly refreshing. The displays about the history of the exhibit were very interesting

While in Seattle for business I wanted something out of the ordinary. Just a short drive outside Seattle is Snoqualmie Falls. I am still in awe over the view. Even better you cannot beat the price. FREE! When you park you ha e just a short walk to see the scenic overview. The best time to view the falls is in the afternoon/ evening. The sun is at a perfect angle and there are rainbows!

I've been to Seattle several times over the years, each time with different people (family, husband, cousins) and the Falls never ceases to amaze us. A little disappointed that the walking trails down to the foot of the Falls isn't open yet but it just gives me another reason to go back. Also, I suggest taking the route that has you drive through Falls City, a cute small town with fresh local produce and a roadside tavern with excellent dining options.

Short drive from Seattle proper. Great attraction since it is easy to access from the highway; short walk to the viewing area. Depending on time of day, there could be a lot of tour buses and tourists.

There is a nice hotel/spa located adjacent to the entrance with a gift-shop and restaurant too.

Parking is plentiful, so no worries there. Just a short distance away is a vintage railroad museum/attraction that is worth a stop, just follow the highway signs and you'll be there within ten minutes time.

Puget Sound Energy has done a bang up job redoing the park and viewing area for Snoqualmie Fàlls. On a week day it is easy parking and an easy walk to the falls. Hopefully, hiking trails will be open again soon to the base of the falls.
