Owner description: Snoqualmie Falls is one of Washington state's most popular scenic attractions. More than 1.5 million visitors come to the Falls every year. At the falls, you will find a two-acre park, gift shop, observation deck, the Salish Lodge and the famous 270 foot waterfall.

The Pacific Northwest has a plethora of splendid falls, whose magnificence is best captured in spring when the melting mountain snows drive torrents that throw out mighty spumes over cliffs and precipices.

Snoqualmie's height and breadth of falling waters make this the jewel of the northwest's natural water displays., particularly within its sylvan setting, and most especially when combined with a sojourn at Salish Lodge perched on the cliff beside it.

Don't skip it!

Snoqualmie Falls is beautful and awe inspiring any time of the year but especially in the Spring when the snow is melting in the mountains. The town of Snoqualmie is quaint and is home to many old rail cars and in July Thomas the Tank Engine for the kids. The Salish Lodge overlooks the falls.

I love this place. I can see why the native people believed it was sacred. We make a point of driving out from Seattle at least a couple of times a year.

We enjoyed looking and photographing the falls from up above; but regretfully the path to the bottom was closed--under construction. Well worth the hike (open spring 2013??)

Beautiful falls and park, you can hike to the bottom of the falls, (careful going down is easy, coming up is quite the incline) There is a beautiful park at the top and the Motel there has an very interesting gift shop. Worth the stop.
