Love the guacamole and everything we tried. Great staff and food! Rachael remembered us the second time we visited Hop Jack's.

The atmosphere, food and service was exceptional. Had the best ever bacon cheeseburger. Will definitely return. Nice menu all around.

We wanted to go somewhere that we didn't have the same thing at home. This was a great choice. The mushroom swiss burger was yummy!! Tator tots where good too!!

We came here a few times while we stayed at the hotel across the street. The food is just awesome, especially their burgers. Great place to go hang out, and get a burger and beer. I was surprised this place doesn't get more crowded. The people are always friendly and provide great service. I wish we had one of these where we lived!

We went here for my daughter's birthday dinner. It was not our first visit although it was the first time that we'd been there in at least six months or so. The plan was to enjoy some burgers and fun drinks on the patio while we enjoyed some beautiful weather. That was the plan. Too bad the terrible service, lying waiters, uncaring management, and poor customer service interfered.

First, Rachel, our waitress, took nearly ten minutes after we were seated to ask for our drink order. Despite telling us three times that she would be "right back" after taking them, she forgot our drinks and two other tables that arrived after us were served before us. Then despite asking for glasses of water in addition to bar drinks, she forgot those until reminded again.

For the four of us we ordered two burgers straight off the menu with no substitutions or alterations. For the other two burgers, we asked for a plain cheeseburger with just ketchup. To ensure Rachel understood the order, we asked her to repeat it back. Sure enough, she got it right. Unfortunately, the kitchen didn't.

After waiting nearly 30 minutes for four burgers, another waiter brought us the food. To our dismay, they screwed up the two plain cheeseburgers with just ketchup by putting pickles on them. Okay - two out of four orders were wrong. I got the waiter's attention and asked that they correct their mistake. Although gracious, he returned in less than one minute with the "new" burgers. When I asked how that was done so fast, he invented a story lying saying that they kitchen had just finished two new burgers when he walked in and he got those. He then set down the plates and ran off quickly.

Suspicious of his story, I looked at the burgers...and you guessed it, all he did was scrap off the pickles and give the same burgers back. That or these hamburger patties just happened to come with pickle shaped indentations on them and the buns came with green juice staining the bread.

Disgusted with the obvious LIE and poor service, I took the plates to the bar and spoke to the manager. I expressed my disappointment and disgust at the concocted story and double failure. He said he would get it fixed.

This time, the new food came out in about 15 minutes and was steaming hot. That was a good sign. It was just too bad that the rest of our food had been on the table for nearly 30 minutes by this point and cold. Oh, yeah, did I mention this was a birthday dinner? Too bad their poor customer service ruined that.

In an effort to make "amends," we were offered 15% off our bill. Really??? 15% after screwing up the order twice, lying staff, a ruined dinner, and piss-poor service?! Adding insult to injury, Rachel "the missing in action waitress" was quick to show up with the bill and collect payment thanking us with a feigned smile in the hopes of eliciting a tip for her lack of service.

So in the end, for about $80, we enjoyed a ruined birthday dinner, poor customer service, lying waiters, orders that were screwed up twice, average food, and a pathetically inept attempt to compensate us for their errors.

DO NOT GO TO HOP JACK'S. The only thing we didn't see was them spitting in the food, picking it up off the floor, or other disgusting things. But given what we did experience, it wouldn't surprise me if they did.
