We stopped in here at dinner time on a Sunday. Even thou it was fairly busy the service was fast and friendly. They run lots of specials which is good because it's a bit pricey. Both our meals were delicious and the salads were nice and fresh.

My wife and I ate there one time a few months after they opened and the experience was horrible. We were seated fast enough but the table was dirty and the service was close to the worst I've ever had. The food took forever, was ok, and the price didn't was high. We thought it was just a bad day for them and tried them for breakfast, same experience. We have not gone back since nor do we have any plans to return.

Far and away the best hamburger I have ever had. Skip the rest, this is it! Wonderful location on the shores of Dyes Inlet Staff was very friendly. The hamburger could stand alone - no bun- and still be an unforgettable experience!

The restaurant recently started serving breakfast on the weekends and we thought we would give it a try. My husband had country fried steak and I had a vegetable skillet. We're from Virginia and the steak was pretty good for Puget Sound; it wasn't as good as The Southern Kitchen in Tacoma but we weren't expecting it to be. My scramble was EXCELLENT. The vegetables and scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked! The biscuit, toast and coffee were equally good. The only disappointment was the country style potatoes. They were cut up potatoes that were deep fried. They were incredibly bland and needed some onions and seasonings. Although the menu is extensive, it does not include a Belgian Waffle which would make a good addition. We will definitely go back.

We visited the Silverdale Hop Jack's when it first opened and were disappointed. The burgers were delicious but the atmosphere wasn't what we enjoyed. We tried again a couple of months ago and found the atmosphere had clearly improved. We've gone every couple of weeks since then and have enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The service has been excellent and accomodating since we're not big eaters and share entrees. We're impressed!
