“Stand out sandwiches”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 15, 2014

One word for the grinders here "Marsala".

They have a "Special" ingredient that utilizes this item and it just takes their sandwiches up a notch in complexity and style.

Well worth trying if in town.

“Great Sandwiches!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2013

These guys really know how to make a sandwich! This was the second time we'd been there and this time I was prepared. I shared my Dipper with my daughter as these sandwiches are HUGE. The meat, the bread and the sauce were fantastic.
Looks like they have live music on Saturday nights. We were there aroiund 3 and noticed some guys setting up.

“Sandwich specialty”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 30, 2013

Heard that the sandwiches were really good here, but you need a box to take them home because they are so big. Ordered the Dipper (their version of French Dip) and split it and still wound up taking some home. The Dipper is not like any French Dip I've ever eaten. Most of them are slices of beef between 2 pieces of bread where you need the au jus. This probably didn't need the au jus with all of the flavor on the extras - mushrooms, onions and whatever they were cooked with - but the au jus itself had more than the usual flavor. If you want a gourmet French Dip, this is the place to get it. Mitch the owner is out walking around to check how folks are doing, which makes it a nice, down-to-earth atmosphere.

“Wonderful spot, great people, veg friendly”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 22, 2013

We stopped here for a pre-costco fuel up and we're very happy. This had the feel of a neighborhood spot even though it's on Aurora. Even better, they have two excellent vegetarian options and a good wine list. We both opted for the roasted veggie filled giardino and it was substantial enough that I'm set for lunch tomorrow, which means I can justify this as a regular pre-costco stop!
