A very quiet & peaceful setting. We enjoyed spectacular views right from the living room window overlooking Dungeness Spit and the Strait of Juan de Fuca and beyond to Victoria, BC. Out the opposite window were awesome views of the pastures behind and the mountains of the Olympic Range in the backdrop. Excellent for birdwatching and seal sightings. We even saw a doe and and brand new baby fawn nearby! Lots of activities right from the cottage doorstep -- we walked the Spit to the lighthouse, we rode our bikes along the Olympic Discovery Trail to Port Angeles, and we explored the nearby Olympic National Park. The cottage was immaculate and very well equipped and maintained. The only downside we can say is there is no bathtub and the shower is smaller. The owners, Karen and John, were very helpful in providing local area information and in ensuring our stay was enjoyable. A definite return destination!

Outstanding views both of ocean in front and the pastoral fields with cows and mountains behind; very well kept and equipped cottages with fresh flowers. Although there is a small road in front it was very, very quiet, watched both the sunrise and the sunset from the cottage. Lovely walk along the road smelling the wild roses and watching the birds including eagles. Our hosts John and Karin were very nice. Sequim is a very relaxing location to holiday with the beautiful lavender fields, surrounding mountains and Dungeness Spit. An easy drive to the Bloedel Reserve to see the gardens. Great value and an easy getaway from Victoria.

Room Tip: Nash's Market down the road, local produce.

I spent three nights in the Olympicview room and it was perfect. Immaculately clean, a well stocked kitchen, comfy bed and amazing views of the mountains and the bay. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

I stayed here with my husband and 9 month old (not quite walking yet) son. There is a large lawn behind the house with a picnic table where we played in the sun and watched nearby cows and the mountains. Out front of our house about 50 feet away was the trail to the beach where we found lots of treasures. One morning we even saw a bald eagle land in the tree in front of our window. I have rented a lot of vacation homes and the kitchen is well equipped with sharp knives, tea kettle, mixing bowls, good pots and pans. These are things often not found in vacation rentals. The place is old but in good repair. New carpet and linens. The shower head is about 6 feet high, it was nice for a change not to duck to wash my hair. The bathroom is tiny with very little counter space, so be prepared. The houses are duplex style and shared wall was by the bed. Our neighbors were quite, and we were diligent about keeping the baby quiet.

Room Tip: We stayed in #3 called Beachpath

The cottages are great - clean, cozy, with well-stocked kitchens and comfy beds, but the best part by far is the view. Out one window is a breathtaking view of the Olympic range; on the other side is Dungeness Bay, literally steps away from the door. The owners are friendly and helpful, and the price is definitely reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel!

We had a great stay at Dungeness Bay Cottages with our 16-month-old son. The location is beautiful - amazing views of the bay, the spit and all the wildlife, and incredible sunsets. Very quiet and relaxing. The cottages are very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The owners were extremely helpful - very accomodating, gave us lots of great suggestions, and were very helpful and welcoming to our toddler. We would definitely stay there again....

Clean and well equipped. Owners were very helpful and knowledgeable.
Views were lovely.
The only thing not perfect was the sofa bed...........a little uncomfortable.
Would definitely stay again though!
Thanks!
