“Great Thai”
Reviewed September 15, 2012

The atmosphere is great, the food is amazing, and the waiter is the best. He might be the owner, I am not sure. He is very attentive and sweet. I usually get ginger chicken, pad thai, or cashew chicken. It is always perfect. It is delicious and it is a good portion and price. It's just the best!

“Predictable tastes and service - a gem.”
Reviewed May 12, 2012

Galare is located in a small, mixed use building (restaurant, architect's studio, and living above) in the center of Sequim. On-street parking is usually available in front of the building. The restaurant is small but waits are not a problem unless during festivals, of which there are many in Sequim during spring and summer. The decor is dark wood but the windows are large, providing lots of natural light. I've had lunch here several times this past year, and each time I order something new from the menu -- from the offerings and experiences of lunch-mates, I could do this for many more years with predictable success. The portions are large (I have another meal in the refer right now leftover from my last lunch) and the prices reasonable for the quality. Service is always fast and polite. You can't miss at Galare.

“My Favorite Restaurant”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

this is one of the best and freshest Thai restaurants I have had the pleasure to visit...I tend to keep to the curries because I love them...and the coconut ice cream is homemade in Port Townsend and vegan...yummy...it is quiet and the service is so good...it is just a sweet and nice all around experience...I have been many times with and without friends...it stays consistently good...located in downtown Sequim...just off of the main drag 101 which circles the Olympic Peninsula...great walking and views on the Dungeness Spit afterwards...

“Excellent Thai food”
Reviewed March 14, 2012

For such a tiny little town this is a wonderful Thai Restaurant. Even better than large cities. Wonderful staff, decor, and food is excellent. The drunked noodles, Pad thai, Basil noodle, and Panang curry are our favorites, although I would venture to guess everything here is great.
