A must for Birders. Nicely done display of birds of the area. This is also a good place to start a walk on the Discovery Trail.

“A must see in Sequim”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Walk on the old railroad bridge (part of the Dungeness Trail that goes for over 20 miles) and along the trail. Listen for the many birds in the trees and enjoy the spectacular Olympic Mountains across the farmland as you walk.

A nice little Center with exhibits of local flora and fauna. Worth stopping to visit.

“Great Family Learning Opportunity”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

Fantastic volunteer staff made our trip most memorable. They went out of their way to share interesting wildlife facts (not just about birds) with the children as well as the adults. Don't miss the "wings" drawer or comparing the hummingbird egg with the ostrich egg. Also, take time to find the many wildlife items in their mural wall (a naturalist version of "Where's Waldo.) There are lovely specimens to view and many hands on opportunities. If you are travelling with bikes the trip across the railroad bridge (same parking lot) would be a lot of fun. We enjoyed walking it, but many people were biking.
