We stayed in the Dungeness View room - the bed was huge and comfortable, the jetted tub was a luxurious touch. The grounds are beautiful and the setting overlooking the spit and the strait beyond it can't be beat - sunsets are gorgeous and if it is too cold to stand outside on the deck above the water, the common room upstairs has a giant window that offers stunning views. Our hosts, Clare & Sue, were both so warm and kind - we were treated to amazing breakfasts and engaging conversation each morning. They really do a great job with this property, you can tell it is a labor of love for them.

Room tip: The only rooms with private bathrooms are the Garden Suite and Dungeness View Suite

I don't like B&B, to share small and no-privacy area with strangers plus dirty old carpet. However, I love it here and I will be back.

The interior ----- is rusty and french modern at the same time. I like the flooring, choice of colors in the barn house and decoration.
Allergy --- Wood floor through the rooms, allergy free.
Hosts -------are welcoming and lovely. They made great healthy breakfast with produce from the garden. I also got some free lavender and flower seeds from their garden.
Environment --- cozy, comfortable. Good sharing space for guests to use (see pic). you can read or study while enjoy the view from either ocean or garden.
Vision----- Different from other B&B they have a vision to preserve the land from developer to federal trust and to keep the organic state of land for produce.

Room tip: ocean view, garden view, quiet

It is hard to avoid superlatives when reviewing the lovely and serene Dungeness Barn House B&B. This is our second visit and will not be our last. The converted barn is a masterpiece and the comfortable rooms and common areas are gracefully decorated. Its lovely grounds, perched on headlands overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca, offer a retreat from the hurly burly spinning of our modern lives. The innkeepers, who welcome guests like long, lost, loved friends, are available to help but are never intrusive. Breakfast is always a treat, especially when eggs from the Barn House chickens are on the menu. A stay at the Dungeness Barn House B&B leaves us refreshed, relaxed, and longing to return.

This was one of the best stays we have had as a family. Our dog and toddler were just as welcome as my husband and I, and we all were catered to. I can't say enough about this place, because every detail was lovely and deliberate and thoughtful. The bed was a dream (we stayed in the downstairs King suite), the breakfast was a multi-course production of local and house made foods that made us feel nourished for our adventures each day. The gardens were immaculate as was the entire barn house. The whole property evokes a sense of calm and comfort. Which I don't know about you, but that's the epitome of what I want on a vacation. I scoured the internet looking for a reasonable place to stay on the peninsula that was pet friendly, and this was by far the best option. We will be back many times over.

This place is amazing. We had not stayed at many B&B's before, and we were completely blown away. It is impeccably clean and the property is very well maintained. We only got to meet Clare, and could not have asked for a better host; easy to chat with, accommodating, and knows when to allow guests more space or privacy and when to engage more. The rooms are luxurious and the view is stunning. Breakfast was beyond expectations, and possibly the best meal we had all week on vacation.
Lastly, the location is wonderful too, just outside the business of Port Angeles but convenient to restaurants and some hiking as well.
We cannot wait to go back one day and stay for longer.

Thank you for the kind words of praise. We aperciate so much when our guest take the time to write a review. As you know we are a small business. Sue and i do all most everything, which does not leave us a lot time to advertise or manage any marketing campaghions so we relie on word of mouth. We are ever so grateful.
