Stayed here and all the lavender farms we visited are closed by. The staff are always there to help. We were late checked in as we came from SeaTac airport and the staff on duty was very accommodating. The staff treated us as if they know us already.

Very clean and updated but nothing special. Pool was small but great for our 4 year old. Breakfast was alright. Had options but staff didn't seem used to a full hotel. We booked directly from red lion and saved a ton. Also we had to cut our stay a night short due to a sick kid and ended up not having to pay for it which was unexpected on a holiday weekend.

My wife and I decided to take an overnight trip to Sequim. Looking at hotels we didn't want to spend too much with the major national chains or go really cheap with one of the local motel/hotels.
We chose the Red Lion Inn & Suites. Driving up I was a bit nervous about what we had reserved, I needed have been. While the outside looks a little dated the rooms and interior have been refreshed with modern colors new furniture, tile and carpets.
Breakfast was another nice surprise. The included breakfast eggs, bacon, cereals, breads, yogurt, fresh fruit, a mixed fruit, and coffee. We got to the lobby at 9:00 am, breakfast ends at 9:30. The day manager made us fresh eggs and bacon a nice touch which we appreciated very much.
We have nothing but good things to say about this Red Lion and the staff here.

Room tip: We had a room on the opposite side of the hotel from Washington Street. Our room was very quiet with a view of a hill and field.

We decided to take an impromptu overnight trip for our anniversary and headed to Sequim with our bikes to check out the Olympic Discovery Trail. We showed up at the Red Lion Inn, without a reservation at 2:00 in the afternoon on a Thursday. We chose it because of it's close proximity to the trail. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the new managers, a lovely couple who were working diligently outside in the entryway. Inside, the front desk staff was just as friendly and eager to please. She cheerfully offered us our choice of rooms and an early check in. We chose a spacious King suite on the second floor. The room was reasonably priced, clean, and nicely updated. It had new carpet and paint, modern furnishings and a pleasant view of pastures out the window. The bed was comfortable, the room was mostly very quiet except if someone was talking right outside our door we could hear their voices. We really enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool- both sparkling clean with minimal chlorine- and both heated to the perfect temperature. But it was the staff that really made this stay worthy of five stars! When she saw me struggling to drag my mountain bike up the stairs (there is no elevator), the front desk clerk came running up to offer to help me carry it. When we returned from dinner, she proudly presented us with fresh baked peanut butter and oatmeal raisin cookies. What a treat! After a good night's sleep and a delicious, satisfying breakfast, we loaded up to check out. The owners/managers spotted us and politely asked how was our stay. They genuinely seemed to care. When we answered everything was great, their wide smiles told us we had just made their day. These were the kind of details that made our little anniversary get- away quite special!

Room tip: Rooms on the rear south side, facing the pasture are very quiet. There is no elevator so that may dictate which floor to be on.

Clean rooms, friendly service, good breakfast! Family of 7 plus a dog & accommodations were made to have our rooms close together. Easily located with lots of food and shopping nearby. Would definitely stay again!
