We had a wonderful visit even though we visited just a day after the flowers were harvested. Visited the barn to see the lavender that was hung to dry and learned about the various processed the lavender goes through to make different products including the lavender e.o.. you have to try the lavender honey and jams. They are amazing. A wonderful family to have the pleasure of meeting

B&B Family Farm is a must see! If you want only quality lavender products and the opportunity for truly a great education in lavender production Bruce and Bonnie's farm are worth the drive out from Sequim. Bonnie was even happy to answer questions about my home lavender plant growing issues to improve my plants production

I haven’t been to all the Lavender farms in Sequim but this was the only farm that offered to give me a tour on the spot. It was interesting to see how they process the lavender. They are very GLBT friendly too! I had been looking for gift baskets for neighbors and their gift shop was the only one I saw that had pre-made baskets for Him, Her and Family. I would highly recommend this farm.

This was a very informative side trip. We went to this family owned and operated lavender farm in particular because our hosts at Eden-by-the-Sea (see my review for this awesome place!) said someone is always there to give you an actual tour of the facility and to show you how lavender is grown and processed. Who knew the English lavender and French lavender are actually two entirely different species and are used for different things?

We also went into the gift shop, which was very nice because everything there was made from their lavender. We got a candle that had three different lavender scents in it, and some blueberry lavender preserves, which were delicious. Unfortunately, I put it in my carryon luggage and it was confiscated by TSA as being a “gel”. VERY BIG SIGH. Thankfully, B&B ships. I’ll have to get some shipped to me.

I wanted to stop at one of the lavender farms on my way from Olympic National Park to Seattle. This one caught my eye because I saw somewhere that they offered free tours. The tour was VERY interesting, the lavender was beautiful, and the gift shop had all kind of items that I could not resist (lavender lip balm, lavender sea salt scrub, lavender honey, lavender for cooking --try lavender roasted potatoes yum!-- lavender essential oil, etc). I only wish I had my teens and husband with me. They would have enjoyed, too!
