The pizza here was very tasty! They also had a salad bar which I always enjoy! It is a very kid friendly place with arcade games etc. The only bad part was that most of the tables had not been bused.

We eat here every time we're in Long Beach. I wasn't in the mood for pizza this time, so I ordered the spaghetti & meatballs dinner. Wow! It came with salad, 2 big breadsticks, a drink, and a huge bowl of spaghetti & meatballs all for $8.95! The rest of the family had Larry's Special meat pizza and loved it. We dined with friends who had eaten there the previous night, but liked it so well they went back again! Service was fast at 9 pm on a Saturday night.

We love thin crust pizza, so we love Chico’s. We’ve eaten at Chico’s at least once (usually twice) on every visit to Long Beach for the last ten years. Their crust reminds us of Pietro's, which left Washington decades ago, and the Pizza Place, which the founder of Pietro’s started after selling Pietro’s to a national soup company. If you prefer thick or doughy crust, then you might not like thin crust.

My best guess would be to say that thin-crust has a slightly sour taste (like sourdough), but is very crisp. We ordered a large half pepperoni-half Hawaiian pizza. There was plenty of meat on the pizza. It was so loaded with pineapple, it seemed like there was a full pizza worth of pineapple on the half-Hawaiian side. Chico’s mixes in some Cheddar cheese along with the Mozzarella, which adds some color, but I wasn’t sure that I could taste it.

The restaurant is very large and would be able to handle a lot of people. There is a salad bar at lunchtime and some video games available. The only drawback is that the men’s bathroom is pretty disgusting.
