Description: The Shelburne Restaurant & Pub has been serving up local cuisine since 1896. Working closely with local purveyors and foragers of seafood and produce, our staff makes the most of an enviable bounty of northwest ingredients. A talented team of chefs and bakers take pride in their 'scratch' kitchen. The freshest, seasonal ingredients rule the day. Guests have the option of dining in the elegant dining room of the original 1896 building or having a brew and a bite in the adjacent pub, which also offers outdoor seating in the summer months. Choose a wine from our award-winning wine list, a northwest microbrew on tap, or one of our hand-crafted cocktails.

Food: amazing! Oysters melted in my mouth. Chinook salmon was cooked to perfection. Phil the bartender makes excellent recommendations for drinks...and makes excellent drinks!

We stopped into the pub for a light, early dinner and were delighted with the food. It was wonderful. The waitress, Mindy, was exceptionally pleasant. Can't remember the exact name of the sandwich we had...something like grilled dill, was delicious as was the whole leaf romaine ceasar salad with shaved cheese. If you go there, be sure to get dessert: the brownie with a scoop of coffee ice cream atop. Mindy told us the ice cream is made by the chef on the premises. The moist, dark chocolate brownie and ice cream were absolutely excellent. Can't wait to go back. We'll stay on the premises in the lovely antique-laden Shelburne Inn. Gorgeous!

There is everything to like about the excellent service, atmosphere and food at the Shelburne. Great pub, terrific entertainment at different times of the week and a wonderful Innkeeper and restauranteur, David Campiche.

My favorite thing to eat at the Shelburne is the Guinnes Chocolate Cake. It is to die for. They make a mean cup of coffee in the pub also.
