Fairfield Inn Seattle Sea-Tac Airport
Ranked #15 of 35 Hotels in SeaTac

The hotel is easy to find, and has a nice lobby area with a fireplace. The pool, hot tub, and workout area is easy to find and surprising well equipped. The lobby was even decorated with a Christmas tree. The room itself was quiet with a microwave, small refrigerator, and bath tub/shower. The free WiFi was easy to connect to, and surprisingly fast.

Room Tip: There are four floors, all located down a single hallway. There is an elevator, and the pool is on...

This place has improved since I was last here. It's modestly comfortable and the price is decent for the area. Free airport shuttle is a plus, but it took a while to get there. I'd say its on par with the far more expensive regular Marriott at SeaTac, so overall good value.

I am glad to see the improvements we’ve made since your previous stay have made an impact upon you, and I do hope you return to us again. While our shuttle may occasionally be delayed during peak arrival and departure times, our goal is to ensure that our guests are waiting no longer than 10-15 minutes for pick-ups and can generally be much less than that as we share shuttle service with some of our sister properties in the area. I am pleased to hear that you consider us on par with the full-service Marriott as we strive to maintain the high level of service, comfort and satisfaction that all of our guests expect from the Marriott family of hotels. Thank you very much for your feedback.

I have stayed here from time to time over the past 7 years when working in the Seattle area. It is clean and convenient and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The shuttle runs 24x7 and will even take you to some local restaurants and then pick you back up when you are done. Since our flight was at 6am, we returned our rental car in the evening and then called for the shuttle to pick us up at the airport. We figured we would grab something on the way back to take back to the hotel to eat for dinner.

Rather than stopping at a fast food place and letting us grab something for dinner, the shuttle driver suggested we go to Sharp's Roaster to sit and eat and call him when we were done, so we did. Boy were we glad we did. It was great.

The shuttle also took us to the airport in the morning and the driver carefully explained how to get over the check-in.

The only reason the Fairfield did not get a perfect score is that I had dealing with the old style dial heaters and air conditioners. The ones under the window with one dial for low cool, high cool, low heat, high heat, off, or fan, and the other with the red/blue gauge. Of course it was set to off when we checked in. It was pretty chilly and wet out, so we turned it on low heat, kind of in the center. When we got back from dinner, we were still chilled, so we set it warmer. Before going to bed, we set it back towards the middle, but it kept getting warmer and warmer. About an hour later we set it all the way down to the bottom of the blue section. It took about another hour before it was cool enough in the room to sleep. They have upgraded the Internet and some other features since I started staying here. Hopefully, they will upgrade the HVAC soon as well.

Room Tip: The top floor will help you avoid any floor noises from above.

We’re so glad to have you as a regular guest, and thank you for your comments regarding our shuttle drivers and service. I will be certain to share them with all of our staff. I am sorry to hear about the issues you encountered with the HVAC in your room and do hope that you informed us prior to check out so that our maintenance team could investigate further. We are working to replace all of the HVAC units in our room with digital units to avoid these types of matters in the future. Thank you once again, and we look forward to your return!

I stayed here on business and was pleasantly surprised by a property that was cleaner and more up-to-date than many Fairfield Inns for a reasonable price (paid $115). The location close to SeaTac, with a shuttle every 30min starting very early (I left at 330am). Soundproofing on the rooms seemed pretty good as I slept well and could only faintly here the planes taking off. The desk and TV were new. As for amenities, there is an indoor pool on the ground floor, along with a workout room. Didn't have a chance to have breakfast as I departed too early, but the front desk staff was efficient and friendly.

While our courtesy shuttle is available 24 hours, it does begin making regular runs to the airport every half hour at 3:00am. Our breakfast service begins at 5:00am Monday through Friday (until 9:00am) and at 6:00am Saturdays and Sundays (until 10:00am). I am pleased to mention that we have recently begun offering To-Go bags of select breakfast items for our guests who need to depart prior to the start of breakfast service. I do hope you return and are able to utilize this service should you have a similar early morning departure. Thank you!

The staff really sets themselves apart at this Fairfield Inn location! Very friendly, welcoming and seemed genuinely glad that you are staying there. The rooms, while nothing special, were clean and comfortable and the location was convienient to the airport and I-5.

Just a short ride to the airport, but noise was not a problem. Hotel has a shuttle that is very convenient for getting around to restaurants, to the light rail system, and back and forth to the airport. We did a lot of short trips, including downtown on the light rail (really slick and easy to use), and seldom did we have a wait of more than 5 minutes for the shuttle service.

We took the light rail system to see a Seahawk's game and found it to be a very fast and easy way to get there and eliminated the inconvenience of parking among other 67,000 fans. Would be great for Mariner's games, too.

Management and staff were very friendly and informative.

Room had a great jacuzzi and bed was very comfortable. Couldn't ask for more on a stay near SeaTac Airport! Stayed 4 nights starting Nov 11th.

I am glad you were able to make use of our shuttle service to connect to Link Light Rail. You are correct that this provides a great alternative for our guests who are attending Seahawks or Mariners games and don’t want to fight traffic or pay astronomical costs for parking, or for anyone wishing to visit the downtown Seattle area while still lodging close to SeaTac Airport. Please note that only a limited number of our rooms include the Jacuzzi tub and can only be confirmed by selecting that specific room type when booking online, or by contacting the hotel directly. Thank you so much for your comments, and we hope to see you again.

I am staying here for a business trip. The hotel is super convenient to Sea-Tac. I think, if you had a good arm, you might be able to hit an airplane with a rock. Despite the location relative to the airfield, the room (at least my room) was plenty quiet. The check-in experience was fine and parking was good (no charge, but not covered). The smallish room is typical of Fairfield Suites and Marriott quality. The room had a nice fridge and microwave. Spotless as you would expect of Marriott. Beds are comfy. Huge HD TV with lots of channels. Easy WIFI connection. Smallish "closet" area. Bathroom was OK and had some kind on nuclear powered toilets that must be shooting toilet contents somewhere into the mid Pacific Ocean. Lots of good restaurants around, all price ranges (avoid 13 Coins restaurant, though). There is a Safeway a couple miles away, too (on Military). Easy access to I-5 (where Seattle residents spend the bulk of their lives). Free breakfast, but you get what you pay for. They have these little Jimmy Dean sandwiches which are really pretty good. They also have other cold stuff (cereals, yogurt, etc). Since it is a Fairfield, no Manager's reception in the evening. So, if you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel that's clean and offers some freebies in the SeaTac area, you should really consider this. If you are looking for a long term stay, there are other Marriott options (Courtyard in Kent WA, Res Inn) that offer more amenities (all at more cost, of course). Bottom line: I would'nt hesitate staying here again!

Room Tip: I stayed on the first floor and could occasionally hear clunking from the second floor.

Thank you for taking the time to review our property, and for your wickedly sharp sense of humor. We in no way encourage our guests to hurl rocks at passing aircraft, but I am glad that you found your room insulated from any noise caused by airport traffic. We are delighted you enjoyed your stay and look forward to accommodating you again when your travel needs bring you to the Seattle area. Rest assured our toilets will still be ready to handle anything you may throw at them. If you have any additional comments, please don’t hesitate to contact me directly at the hotel during normal business hours, or somewhere along I-5 outside of those times.
