Never stayed here before, but very pleased. the bed was very comfortable, something in the middle as far as firmness. Two foam pillows, two feathered pillows. The room had a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee machine (one cup only). Big bonus here with the HVAC system. It's a large window type unit made by Carrier, but it has a very low sounding whirr when it operates. Almost like white noise effect. And when the heat cuts on, it doesn't sound like a blast furnace, just one slight click. Probably one of the reasons why you can sleep so well even though it is next to airport and on major street. Front desk is accommodating. Twice asked the front desk to fax something as well as make copies. They did it right away. No restaurant in hotel. The breakfast is standard free stuff. No meats or cooked eggs. But reasonable assortment including cereal, waffles, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, etc. Opens from 5am to 10 am weekdays. Don't know about weekend hours. On the property there is a very good restaurant, Roasters. Tip here is that if you eat in the bar between 5-6 pm, they have half off on a variety of appetizers and entrees. Forget the salmon fish and chips. Salmon was not meant to be battered and deep fried. The sour dough turkey melt is very good, although the turkey can be dry and it is served with a beef au jus. Kind of a clash. Both of those were $6 on happy hour and came with home cut fries or a chopped salad. Pot stickers are very good, as are the wings. Did not try the ribs, but guy eating them said very good. Think they were about $7 during happy hour. Nice atmosphere, full bar. PBR's are $3 for a pint. The hotel also has a business/internet office which was readily accessible. Definitely stay here next trip to Seattle.

This is a great airport hotel, reasonable price for the quality of room which are very clean and are a good size. Staff have always been friendly. Appreciate that there is a rate for Alaskan residents and airlines mileage. Easy walk or take the shuttle to and from airport. For a meal go to Roasters across the parking lot and 13 Coin's is an easy walk.

Stayed here prior to flying home. Front desk staff was very friendly and efficient . The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Took the free shuttle in the morning no more than a three minute ride it seemed. The breakfast was available at 5am which great if you have an early flight. There was a restaurant/bar they share the parking lot with so had supper there price also was excellent for the area.

We stayed here for a layover due to a mechanical problem with our Alaska Airlines flight.
Beds are extremely comfortable, staff friendly and windows very well-isolated. They also have Starbucks coffee, which is pretty good. Wi-Fi was fast and worked right away.
Good selection for breakfast and it started at 5 am. Pretty good shuttle service.
Con: decor - furniture pretty dated. But overall, just a "better than average" experience.

Got this as a winning bid from Priceline for $80 / night, on a week night when other hotels were extremely expensive. Normally weekend rate for around the airport via Priceline bidding is around $60 or so, our experience anyway.

We needed a place at the airport so we can use the Link light rail to go to downtown Seattle. This location was perfect! The shuttle driver dropped us off at the rail station, then at the end of the day, we just walked back as the weather was pleasant and there were plenty of car and pedestrian traffice. The area was well lit and felt very safe. The journey took about 40 minutes, for $5.50 day pass.

The room we were given was a queen bed room. Nice granite bathroom countertop, shower was small but functional. None of the rooms face the busy road, our room was on the second floor, very very quiet. Small flat panel TV, small chair and desk.

Hotel had free breakfast, not fancy but had the basics. A rare bonus, hotel has complimentary parking. Most hotels around this area charge $10 to $18 per night!! Near the hotel you can find many restaurants, lounges, and gas stations. It is also 5 ~ 10 minutes away from South Center Shopping Center.

Room Tip: Rooms on the far end are away from International Blvd, to reduce road noise.

After going to three other hotels as a walk-in, I was finally able to book a room here (the hotel I did have a reservation for was awful~ see my other review). The desk attendant was cheerful and very helpful setting up for the two cars we needed to have stay for three days. The shuttle was prompt and the driver was friendly, but not too friendly. Rooms were nice, we had a view of the airport. The fan in the a/c unit must have drowned out any noise b/c we all slept well. The breakfast was typical fare. Again, the shuttle was prompt. Restaurant right next to hotel offers room service. There is also a brand new Subway and liquor store within short walking distance. I would stay here again and recommend it to friends needing stay/park/fly in and out of Seatac.

Room Tip: Did not use the restaurant next door and don't remember if they had a pool. Agree with the tip...

I stayed this weekend at the Coast Gateway Hotel for a 2 day trip up to Seattle. My main purpose was to go see the Rangers take on the Mariners and this hotel was located a few blocks from the light rail. It was a few minutes walk or they have a shuttle that will drop you off quickly and easily. Parking was included in the room rate, which is always great to not have to pay extra for - just make sure you get a tag from the front desk to put in your car. It is right next to the airport, and while I did hear some noise while I was awake, it did not bother me as I was going to sleep and I am typically a fairly light sleeper. The blackout drapes let me sleep in the next morning until I was ready to get up and go. The hotel has a few dining options - either room service or in the restaurant, and breakfast is included downstairs in the mornings. Free WiFi and a comfortable clean room made for a great trip to Seattle for this Rangers fan.
