Would never have guessed this place existed. It is hidden in a residential area near Seatac Aitport. We held our spring board meetings here. the accomodations were great. This place used to be a training center for Washington Mutual and so it has a very interesting layout. Different buildings with individul rooms and a common living room area with free snacks (yogurt, cheese, fruit, and ice cream. There is a great little bar on site with a pool table and friendly staff, a great place to hang out after a day of meetings. The individual rooms were also very comfortable and functional with a very large desk area and free internet. Definitely a great place for business - would also be good for a romantic getaway.

we enjoyed our stay at cedarbrook lodge. the facility is very clean and
the staff is friendly and helpful. it is near the airport so the plane noise
is there but in the very comfortable room with the window closed all
noise went away. love the public space living rooms that were complete
with couches and snacks around the clock. we'll definitely be back.

I stayed here for a work meeting. I believe this place has been marketed as an executive type retreat location. However, it easily could be a stopover place between flights.

The buildings are beautiful - wood lodge type settings. The rooms are modern and clean. Great workspace and lots of closet space/drawers. The workout room is fantastic. You don't even know you're near the airport - surrounded by trees and the trail to walk on. This place is great. Can see security cameras in the parking lots so feel secure.

Room was nice - free wifi. Great bathroom products. Modern countertops (perhaps granite or recycled materials). SPACIOUS tub. In room coffee maker w/ real mugs and liquid creamer (not the powder junk). I think the bed is marketed as a queen, but I think it's a full...or just seems small. If you like lots of room - even if you travel as a couple - maybe get 2 beds for more space. The room will be larger as well. Roller shades that block out the light! yay!

One of the best features if the "living rooms" on the main floor of each building. You can get complimentary bottled water, snacks (chips, malted milk balls, choc covered raisins, yogurt pretzels), a fridge w/ yogurt and string cheese - and the best part - a freezer full of the single serving haagen dazs ice cream cups! AWESOME!

The food from the restaurant was wonderful - esp. for business buffet type places. No sad chicken breast covered w/ some salty sauce w/ potatos here...no, we're talking bbq ckn, salmon, mahi mahi, fresh salads, grains, whole wheat rolls...really good for meetings/conferences. NW ingredients (apples, fish, nuts, etc.)

Overall - a great place for meetings or stopovers...no swimming pool, but assume that might be to keep kids away? Since it has a theme of business meetings there...quiet at night...

Previous reviews were spot on. Kudos to Lorie and Ian at the front desk! More concierge training for others needed, however! Free shuttle to Sea-Tac and light rail into town is very handy! Great environment! (See their website!) Restful plus! Someone here really knows fine dining but they need to work on how it is finally delivered to the guests. My evening meal was at the bar which is way to small to have a pool table crammed in the center of it! I got cracked in the ribs by the pool cue of one player while I was eating at the bar, which sent one inebriated female of a certain age into loud whoops of laughter. (Nothing like being laughed at while trying to enjoy dinner.) The bartender was a bit atitude-y as well. Food was ok but as often is the case, the menu hyperbole outshone the finished product. My companion's dungeness crab sandwich was by his estimate excessively oily, and my BLT made with pork belly was not as good as I expected. The complementary continental breakfast was wonderful - with (peeled) hard boiled eggs, smoked salmon with capers, , bagels, and a great blueberry pastry among other great choices. The comment earlier about food not appropriate for children was groundless. There was even oatmeal, for heaven sake! Lunch al fresco on the lovely terrace area the next day was some bettter, but service was maddeningly slow. My friend's Caesar salad presented only a few greens, with the parmesan regiano, the chicken, and anchovies just sort of dumped into this enormous bowl. It looked very unappetizing. My burger however was excellent, though there were no salt or pepper shakers in evidence and requests took over 10 minutes to be heeded. Many guests were curious about what we presumed to be big jars of sun tea sitting on the terrace. Mid-meal, I asked our (overly) officious server who grandly announced that, yes, it was indeed sun-tea and it was a gratis service. He however had failed to mention that when he took our beverage orders. My request for him to leave the (elegant) water pitcher on the tabel was agreed to after the obligitory caveat of "Well, we don't normally do that...but...") The tea was delicious and they should've put little announcements letting the guests know about it. Chocolate banana bread pudding was somewhat bland. The nice free youghurt or ice cream in the living areas would've been better.Tip! BYO soft drinks to go with the free water! ! Otherwise it's the berries (straw-,blue-, and otherwise!)!

Stayed overnight prior to early morning flight out of SeaTac. Very close to airport, great staff. Nice way to start a vacation, it would be a great place to stay longer.
