I have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the last number of years. As any large airport hotel, it constantly experiences high traffic of hurried travelers. So it is hard to deliver high quality service. The hotel in recent couple of years, though, has made some nice effort and the service is getting noticeably better. The hotel staff makes genuine effort to deliver personal touch and go out of their way to help customers, which is quite impressive for an airport hotel.

The room is generally clean and comfortable. The deco is a bit out dated but well maintained. The restaurant is quite acceptable as well. Used it for both breakfast and lunch. Nothing to complain about.

The hotel is located right behind the Hilton, which is right across the street from the airport. There is a way to walk to the Marriot without using its free shuttle service: at the terminal, follow the "Link Light Rail" sign which leads to the train terminal. At the train terminal, find the street-crossing bridge and then take the stairs / elevator down after crossing the street. It takes 10-15 minutes. Use your own judgment when it's safe and comfortable to walk that way. The same way can be also used to take the light rail to go to Seattle downtown. The train ride takes about 30 minutes and it runs quite frequently during the day.

Overall one of my top choices at the airport.

Our second stay at this property was enhanced by lessons we learned on our first stay several months ago. Most important: if you want a quiet room you should request a room that does not overlook the atrium pool during times when families are likely to be traveling: exuberant shrieks from children enjoying the pool make it difficult to read, relax, or sleep in pool-side rooms, even several floors above the atrium.

This hotel has an inviting lobby with generous seating, especially nice beside the fireplace on a cold night. The staff are friendly and the beds are very comfortable. The van shuttles to the airport run every 15 minutes, which is great, but we learned that when the van is full, it will leave before the appointed time: our 6:30am shuttle left the hotel at 6:25 with a full load: during busy times, you might want to be in the lobby a few minutes before your scheduled departure.
The Concierge lounge is somewhat cramped and access is awkward if you've been given a room outside the tower; the food service, while adequate, is not up to the standard of many other full service Marriotts. The WiFi internet charges are very high, although there is free Wifi in the lobby and computers are available in the business center and the Concierge lounge.
This is a good choice if you have elite status or don't need a full service hotel with pool: otherwise, you can do better for less cost at other SeaTac properties.

Room Tip: Noise from the swimming pool (or from the atrium after a UW televised football game) interferes with reading or sleep in atrium-facing rooms

I stayed at this hotel prior to an early flight out of Seattle and I was very happy with the room for Per Diem Government Rate. The indoor pool and lounge area is extremely nice for people trying to unwind. The room quality was right on par for most Marriott rooms. The service and employees were both accomodating and nice as well.

This is a very nice hotel and only 1mile from SeaTac. The layout is a little confusing at first. The elevators are accesed from the atrium. Take your swim suit the pool is enclosed in a great atrium garden. The food in the concierge lounge is very good and substantial enough for a meal. Warning. .the doors in the room are very heavy so the bathroom door slammed on my fingers and the door to the room is a struggle to open ..especially with luggage. Good beds and towels. I would come back.
