Good value and efficient service for such a busy place. Parking package + room for 14 days definitely worth it. Good amenities in hotel. Yummy cookies! Shuttle to Sea-Tac extremely crowded at 5 am but they added an extra bus very quickly.

This is a good hotel if you are staying over night for a early flight, layover, etc..... This hotel needs some updating though. It has a 80s look. It is a nice hotel, the staff are very friendly. It is starting to show some age. I guess that's what you get for a heavily used airport hotel. We had 2 rooms, one had a mountain view and other airport view. You need binoculars to see the mountains and in the other rooms you could hear the jets landing because they were using the runway closest to the hotel. Over all it was a good hotel and I would probably stay here again.

We arrived around 5:30 am, several hours before check-in, exhausted from our 22 hours straight drive. We were able to check in then anyway and the gal at the counter waived the $55 early check in fee (e must have looked pretty ragged!). The biggest downside to this place is the $21/night parking fee because "the airport owns the parking lot". The room we stayed in is situated right on top (literally) of the lake, so there are ducks and geese swimming around. This did get frustrating in the morning when the geese would honk and wake us up, but it was easy to fall back asleep. You're given a parking ticket when you check in, and ours wasn't working. We went to the desk and got a replacement which worked fine allowing us to enter and leave whenever we wanted. The room service was insanely over-priced (I remember something like $8 for a bagel with cream cheese, $15 for a hamburger) so we avoided that, but there are plenty of food choices all around and easy to get to. Upon checkout the gentleman in front of us was having an issue with his parking pass, and the hotel didn't have any more made so they instructed him to "press the button and someone will be able to let you in/out." That sounded a little frustrating to me, so I stepped forward and offered our parking pass as we were no longer going to be using it. The lady working at the counter this time took a night of parking off our final check out bill for our generosity, which we greatly appreciated and obviously didn't expect. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and even though the parking fees add up and we would never spend the kind of money they expect on a basic bagel, hamburger, etc., I would definitely stay here again, and I recommend this hotel for others looking for a place to stay. It's located very near the airport (but not noisy), and has quick access to the highways.

Room Tip: Unless you don't mind the geese honking in the morning, do not stay in building 4.

Dear DoubleTree Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are delighted to hear about the fantastic customer service you received during your stay. We appreciate your kind gesture of helping out another guest by offering your parking pass.
Although the geese can get a little noisy at times, we hope you enjoyed the peacefulness of the lake view and that the comforts of your guest room provided you with a good night’s sleep. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you back again soon!
Kind Regards,
Jessica Harris

We stayed here overnight after flying into Seatac. We have stayed at doubletree hotels before and know what to expect for quality etc. This hotel has a very nice lobby and appears nice... however our walkway to our room in the tower reminded me of the 70s. Our room was mixed... most things were updated and modern but not all. What is with the wood panelled bathroom door? Overall though, the beds were comfortable, the room darkening curtains worked great, we slept well and enjoyed eating our cookies!

Stayed at the hotel last night and someone was trying to enter my room at midnight! I called the front desk and not just 5 minutes later a security guard was trying once again to enter my room. I am screaming at the person that the room is already occupied. Called the front desk and received a "Oh we are sorry". It ruined my sleep. Will never stay at this hotel again.
