“Yuck”
Reviewed July 18, 2013

I am a business traveller and stay in many different types of hotels, in small towns and large cities. This hotel is one of the worst I have ever stayed in. It is close to the airport, but so are many others. The hotels I usually stay at were all booked up, and this one was available which is the only good thing I could say.

The Card key didn't work, even after replacing the keys 3 times. The Airconditioning was not working well. The TV had like 6 channels ANd the internet was very slow.

I will stay elsewhere, next time in Seattle.

We have stayed here before, but were happy to stay again. We had a large king suite. The main problem with this property is the layout, so strange. It is a maze to get to some of the rooms (ours, the rooms above the garage, as there is no access to them from the lobby elevator, but you have to take two elevators and walk through quite a maze to get there. Well worth it, however, when you do. Security is great with room keys required for elevators and stairwells. The breakfast was sufficient; looks like they had to take up some lobby space for more tables, but that was great to have enough. Front desk is slow, both in answering the phone and checkout. You would think at 11 a.m. check-out, with many people waiting for cruise and airport shuttles, that there would be more than one person on the desk! Breakfast staff and shuttle driver were very nice. Internet was fine, but not very many TV channels.

Stayed here 3 times coming and going during June 2013 trip. Chose this location for convenient location and price. Stayed in King room "suite" located in the newer B Building. Was clean and comfortable. Wi-fi worked fine. Had a refrig and microwave. Biggest benefit was location to SeaTac and their shuttle service which we used for airport and connection to light rail service to downtown Seattle at a cost of $.75 each way for senior citizens. We took Kenmore Air seaplane to Victoria and were able to leave some of our luggage here for 3 days while we were gone.

Disappointed in this Comfort Inn. It is old and unkept for the most part. As we entered, the lobby floor was dirty. The receptionist was nice but not overly friendly. Our room was OLD. Old worn bedspread, old furniture, old boxy TV -- no cable channels. Breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal, sweet rolls, juice, coffee, and eggs. No toast was available and no fruit or meat. The room seemed clean enough. The bed was comfortable. Not impressed.

We stayed here 2 nights, before we, flew out and upon arrival back from a recent trip. Both times the hotel rooms we were placed in were very clean. The last night we stayed our door lock had a problem however management took care of our issue! We will definitely stay here again when flying from Seatac!

The comfort Inn&Suites should change their name to The not-so-comfortable Inn&Suites! We got a room with a fridge that made loud and weird noises. They immediately send somebody up (that was great) but he looked at it for a bit and said " I'm sorry I can't do anything for you, I think they made them like this". Well....that really doesn't help but thanks anyway! The other room didn't even have a fridge or microwave even though it says it does when you book the room and they didn't even mention it when we checked in. The room wasn't that clean either. And even worse was the bathroom. The shower curtain had something that looked like fungus on them. And the curtain rod was about to come of the wall. There was also rust on the shower head. The continental breakfast downstairs was until 9 (I can't remember how early it starts). There was not nearly enough room to sit down! We just had to wait in the main hall until there was some room. Also things weren't stocked during the breakfast and at 2 past 9 all the breakfast was taken away. Even though it was really busy and people weren't done eating. Everything looked old and dingy and the staff wasn't really friendly. When we asked if it was possible for her to see if there was room at the Sleep Inn (that one also belongs to the same chain of hotels) because we really weren't satisfied she told us she couldn't do that and we should just check online. They didn't ask why we weren't satisfied. So that's what we did! We booked the Sleep Inn and packed our bags after one night. I left them the same story as I did here telling why I am not satisfied with my email address so I hope they will contact me. Even though they are called the COMFORT Inn&Suites they aren't nearly as comfortable as the Sleep Inn which is supposed to be less comfortable.
If you want a hotel near the Seatac airport and for a reasonable price you should definitely go to the Sleep Inn.

Positives: The rooms were clean and reasonably priced, and the staff was pleasant. Negatives: The decor is dated and the layout is strange, making it very inconvenient to get around. Breakfast was OK but the eggs were like rubber. The deal breaker for me was the poor - no internet. There is no excuse for this. Front desk said "they were working on it" but I don't believe it because other recent reviews have said the same thing. Would not stay there again.
