The accommodations were totally satisfactory and the staff were all helpful and curteous. The desk clerk even agreed to shipping excess luggage for us due to returning home with a teenage grandchild and all her possessions that filled the car trunk to capacity!

This was a great hotel; clean, quiet, and a fantastic well-varied breakfast that satisfied all three kids (semi-picky eaters) and my wife. We spent a lot of time in the pool too - very nice, clean, and comfortable. Good location too! Beds were great too (but I'd expect that at a Hilton property).

We stayed here as we attended a wine event at nearby Red Mountain. We had a second floor room without balcony at the far end of the building, overlooking the river. A beautiful park is right next door; there was a bride and groom having pictures taken in the sunshine when we checked in. The front desk had to check with housekeeping to see if our room was ready at 4PM check-in because of a full house the night before; it was, so good management. When we went to our room, they were cleaning all three rooms in closest proximity to ours! The in-room coffee was very good; always a crap shoot for coffee lovers from Seattle! We partook breakfast outside on the riverside patio. Breakfast was OK; I've had better and worse from this level hotel. The scrambled eggs were dry and crumbly and there was no bacon or ham. Coffee was again excellent; at least the hi-octane version I prefer.

Hampton Inn in Richland may be the best value in Richland. It is located on the river, and the rooms are quiet and comfortable. I stay in the Tricities alot. Few other hotel chains consistently meet the standards I need for business, but this one always does. I would recommend it to anyone traveling in the Tricities.

Our one-night stay here was great. The hotel is large, clean, with lots of parking, free wifi, and all the amenities we want. Breakfast was complete with plenty of everything to go around and seating for everyone. The pool and spa are open around-the-clock, so are accessible any time. Our room was large and included a microwave and refrigerator. A small pub and a '50's-style diner are conveniently located across the parking lot. The hotel is situated on the Columbia river, so the view from the breakfast room and many of the hotel rooms is beautiful.

Even the hotel "store" was well-stocked with useful things, such as chilled wine, corkscrews, and swimsuits.

The Hampton Inn was worth very penny of the $20.00 extra we paid as compared to the room we had originally booked for the night. We would gladly stay here again.

Room Tip: A room with a river view would be great.
