“Best Bang for Your Buck Sushi in Town”
Reviewed February 24, 2012

Subs n Jeans is a strange name, and the exterior looks a little weird for a sushi place...
But trust me, this restaurant has fresh, delicious, awesome-priced sushi. Hole-in-the-wall place for sure, but they're fast, the food is great, the prices are low.

You can get sandwiches, but you can also get awesome sushi, and wonton soup, all in one place...which is kind of odd.

Here are suggestions:
1) Come when the Farmer's Market is outside. Yeah, the Farmer's Market is directly outside of this restaurant. Get some fresh fruit while you're there, and maybe a slice of cake from the Farmer's Market, and bring that in as your dessert. =)

2) Experiment! Try the different sushi rolls; all of them are great. Then when you figure out what types of things you like in your roll, you can request CUSTOM ROLLS. Be nice about it, but you can ask for example, that they put together a tuna+soft shell crab+avacado+smoked salmon roll for you, and if you come early, and they have the time, they will. They will charge you something or the other for it, depending on your ingredients, but it's a fair price, and it's gonna be delicious cause you designed it.

=) I was here on a rotational assignment, and after a while, when I walked in, they just asked "Do you want your roll today?" And it was exactly the way I liked it. ^____^! This made me so happy, because I didn't have to worry about picking out all the cucumbers I didn't want, or whatever. It was just perfect.

“Subs N Jeans is great!”

This is a great place for sushi, the best in Tri - Cities. Great Food and a great value. Nothing like a hot bowl of miso to warm you up on those colder days.

This is hands down the best sushi in the Tri-Cities. The Chef is native to Japan and was formally trained there and makes the best sushi I have ever had. I highly recommend his smoked eel and soft shelled crab. The crab is actually deep fried then placed in the roll fresh out of the fryer. It's somewhat of a unique experience looking at your food and seeing an entire crab (eyes, guts, claws, etc.) staring up at you with its black beady deep fried eyeballs; however, take one bite and you will be instantly hooked! The caviar is also very fresh tasting and compliments just about any sushi if you ask me. Sub's N Jean offers just about any kind of sushi you can imagine or want (unless you are a sushi afficianado maybe) and is especially good with a hot bowl of miso on a rainy spring day. Though I find sushi refreshing on the very hot days out here in the desert. If you want some authentic sushi and a satisfied belly you must go here!
