Subs n Jeans is a strange name, and the exterior looks a little weird for a sushi place...
But trust me, this restaurant has fresh, delicious, awesome-priced sushi. Hole-in-the-wall place for sure, but they're fast, the food is great, the prices are low.
You can get sandwiches, but you can also get awesome sushi, and wonton soup, all in one place...which is kind of odd.
Here are suggestions:
1) Come when the Farmer's Market is outside. Yeah, the Farmer's Market is directly outside of this restaurant. Get some fresh fruit while you're there, and maybe a slice of cake from the Farmer's Market, and bring that in as your dessert. =)
2) Experiment! Try the different sushi rolls; all of them are great. Then when you figure out what types of things you like in your roll, you can request CUSTOM ROLLS. Be nice about it, but you can ask for example, that they put together a tuna+soft shell crab+avacado+smoked salmon roll for you, and if you come early, and they have the time, they will. They will charge you something or the other for it, depending on your ingredients, but it's a fair price, and it's gonna be delicious cause you designed it.
=) I was here on a rotational assignment, and after a while, when I walked in, they just asked "Do you want your roll today?" And it was exactly the way I liked it. ^____^! This made me so happy, because I didn't have to worry about picking out all the cucumbers I didn't want, or whatever. It was just perfect.
