Have been eating at both downtown Renton and Highlands Toreros for years....and frequently. We eat there at least twice a month. The food is usually good and the portions generous. The homemade flour tortillas are great. Chips are sometimes wonderful and fresh, sometimes less so; but the baskets are refilled as often as you'd like. The salsa is consistently good. The tacos, burritos and enchiladas are all good, but not memorable. I really like the mole, though, and usually the chili Rellenos are great. Margaritas are tasty and inexpensive. The waitstaff doesn't change much at either location and is usually very friendly and efficient. However, occasionally they are understaffed and wait times increase substantially. We don't mind because it's a comfortable neighborhood restaurant where your business is valued and the food is consistently good and fairly priced.
