We are very new to the area, just having moved from Michigan this July. We left behind one of the best Mexican restaurants in Ann Arbor (Los Amigos off State Street - highly recommended if you visit or live there). So we had to find something that could compare. I think we've found it!

Torero's has great authentic Meixcan fare for a reasonable price. Many plates of customized specialties...burritos, tostadas, homemade salsa (yummm), arroz con pollo, enchiladas, and more. We had plenty to eat with some of their combo plates. Rice and beans accompaniments were flavorful.

Service was great! Being called an "amigo" or "amiga" really ties into the overall flare and ambience of the restaurant. Attentive wait staff and kept us happy.

I wanted to give this place an excellent rating, but couldn't. The margaritas were sub-par. Or maybe we were just spoiled from the 'ritas at Los Amigos in Ann Arbor. Needed more lime flavor and more tequila to let you know you are drinking a margarita. The drink menu was lengthy so no worries to try something else.

Give Torero's a try. Glad we did.

We were greeted as amigos and felt right at home. We dined there twice in one week while out west. The enchiladas were phenomenal and we had them both times. The salsa was flavorful and not too hot and as we were on business we sat talking for a while after our meal and they did not rush us and kept filling our beverages. Next time I am out in the Pacific Northwest this one will be on my list again!

We've been to many Mexican restaurants but Toreros is the one that keeps us coming back. The food is always good. The Carne Asada is a favorite. Service is always friendly. We've been to all the Toreros they are all good but the one at Renton Shopping Center is our favorite and where you have the best chance of meeting a member of the Rodriguez (owners) family.

This is a real mexican restaurant. Not a Texmex or american mexican place. My wife is Mexican so I know good Mexican food and this place has it. The portions are large and the service is good.

Try the seafood burrito.
