We won this hotel off Priceline and were quite disapointed because this place, is listed as a 3 star alongside amazing places like the Hilton, but deserves a 2 star rating. Customer service was excellent, the lobby looked okay, but the rest of this place was a dump. We stayed in the south wing and on our way to the room, the hallways were so dirty, we almost walked out of the hotel. However, we were pleasantly surprised to see how clean our room was, but when the rest of the hotel smells, there are chunks of paint peeling off the walls, the toilet seat doesn't fit the toilet, and the bed matress swallows you to the middle, and no sound proofing at all; it is not the best. Plus, if you waled at a certain area on the floor, it sounded like there were mice going to attack you. All in all, it was not a horrifying experience, but once again, you experience the problems typically common to Holiday Inns.

We would not stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. The place smelled (both wings), was very dated and poorly maintained.

Our stay was not enjoyable. The girl that we dealt with at the front desk was very rude, making us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The bed was comfortable but the heater kept making a clicking sound all night so couldn't sleep well. Also the pool was ice cold, and it was suppose to be open year round. The jets in the jacuzzi weren't working. The service was poor at the restaurant and the food was lousy. It was my husbands birthday and I asked the hostess if they could bring a dessert with a candle in it at the end of the meal, and she said not a problem. Unfortunately, all we received at the end of the meal was the check. We paid for two nights, and could not get reimbursed for the second night, but left anyways and went to stay at the Crown Plaza downtown and were treated very well and enjoyed our stay!

This hotel is a great location to the freeway, which was required for a 5 day business trip. However, the room was in the older wing and was right next to the freeway off ramp. My husband likes fresh air so it was very noisy with the window open. Besides that, the on site restaurant was very good with large portions, room & pool were nice. Next time I will request a room in the new section with a pool view.
