Description: We are Redmond's own Puerto Rican restaurant! We want to have our guests feeling like they are dining somewhere outside in Old San Juan having some food and enjoying the scenery. Cobblestone streets, lots of iron work, ornate doors and textured walls. but more importantly wonderful food and service with the warmth of Puerto Rico. Hours: Sunday: 11am - 11pm Monday - Thursday: 11am - 11pm Friday: 11am - Midnight Saturday: 11am - Midnight

I met a few co-workers for lunch - we walked to La Isla. It was the first time for the 3 of us to eat at La Isla. We all thought it was delicious. Our waitress was helpful, the other staff seemed friendly. I would return if Im in the area.

I am so happy with our choice to go to La Isla for dinner. Both my wife and I have alergies that make it hard to find variety when we go out to eat. La Isla was amazing with there menu and was able to, without any special orders, feed a family with Gluten issues, vegetarian, carnivorous and anything else you can think of. Their bar is top notch and serve a great Mojito. The staff was knowledgable and super friendly. Live music the night we went.
If you are in Redmond, it's a must go for sure.

Went on a Thursday night. Sat outside in the bar area and we were kind of forgotten about. Food was good ,decent portions and flavorful but we had to get up and ask for water, get up and grab the wait staff to get what we ordered 10 minutes prior. Place was not busy so not sure why this occurred.

Will try it again.

Spent $60 at Happy Hour this evening at Redmond.

Food pretty good. Service OK. Wines ordinary, actually poor value given $12 and $11 per glass and a smallish pour.

But the one serious problem was the bait and switch. Website says “today’s white or today’s red $5.” But neither the on-site menu nor the server offered that option. All we were offered was $2 off the list price per glass. So we paid $10 for one ($12 list) and $9 for the other ($11 list) when we came anticipating $5 per glass. So instead of the $10 + T + T by which they lured us in, they charged us $19 + T + T.

Further, the website menu for Happy Hour shows appetizers Ciccarones and Bacalaitos $5 and Camarones $8. But on-site the menu said Happy Hour $1 off the apps which were listed at $6, $8, and $12. So instead of the $18 + T + T we anticipated for the three HH apps they charged us $23 + tax + tip.

All told the deception cost us $14 + T + T more than the website led us to anticipate. Roughly $17-$18 overcharge. Ripoff. Some might call it thievery.

Al fresco seating was nice, and for that we might have returned, we’re local and could have been regulars, but we won’t be back because of their deception. Additionally, we have many local friends and family who look to us for restaurant recommendations and we will steer them away from this place's bait and switch practices.

We invited an out of town friend for lunch at the restaurant which recently moved to the new location beneath Guitar Center. We ordered drinks and food but my plate arrived with unevenly cooked meat and over cooked plantains. I was told that the restaurant was having a soft opening and that the staff was fairly new including the cooking staff. Well it showed; they lacked quality and care in preparing our meals. When I pointed out the deficiencies, the waitress apologized but did not give us any credit for the burnt food. Hopefully they get there act together because they were much better at the old location. Call and ask if the staff is properly trained and experienced before going there. The drinks were the only items that were to our liking.
