“Very Good Park”

Idylwood Beach Park

This is pack in full during sunny weekend but still I wouldn't mind taking kids. Park has something to offer for everybody from kids to adults. You've play area, little jog area, picnic area and swimming area with lifeguards.

Parking is going to be a challenge on sunny weekends so plan ahead of time.

Great beach park otherwise. Has a swimmers area. One of only two public beaches on the lake! The Issaquah one has plenty of parking and is larger, but nothing beats Idylwood for proximity if you live on the north end

It is a very attractive park with beach access to Lake Sammamish. Interests of walking, swimming, boating and picnicing for families, teens, couples and individuals.

Compared with 5-6 years ago, the new redesigned park offers more options for different age categories. Waterfowls and geese are welcoming new and old visitors with much curiosity and noise. The little beach is a nice place to be in the summer days. Shelters are party and picnic friendly. A very nice place in the middle of the city.

Very beautiful and peaceful park, when the sun was out, and temperatures went around the 70's this was our favorite place to hang out at. Very well kept.
