“Nice location, but different than typical Residence Inn”
Reviewed October 2, 2010

This is located at the edge of the Towne Center; and outdoor shopping center that is geared towards families. It has had lots many kids clothing stores and actvities. The Inn is 6-story building, not the typical, sprawling Residence Inn design.

The rooms are clean, but kind of dated. The room design is a bit cramped. It is U shaped with the sitting area and the kitchen next to each other, but the bed is stuck into a kind of alcove with little room on either side.

The free breakfast is very good: Eggs, some kind of meat, potatoes, oatmeal, fresh fruit, cold ceral, and waffle maker.

When I called they told me the hot tub was inside, but it was outside. Fortunately, it was still warm enough outside for us to enjoy.

We asked about public transportation the first night we were there and the front desk person knew little about it and was not very helpful. The staff for the rest of our stay was excellent.

There are only two elevators - one at the end of each hallway and they were extremely slow.

My wife and I stayed for a retreat while grandma watched the kids. The Town Center is a great place with nice restaurants, shopping, bookstores, and even an upscale dining style movie theater. We even had a farmers market next to the parking lot that was one of the best we'd ever seen. The only drawback was that they provide porn for those who like that. They do offer to turn it off if you need, and suggest their controls to keep your kids from it is good, however the doors are not sound proof and the sound would likely carry. Our families policy is to avoid business that include pornography in their offering so we wouldn't bring our family here, but other than that it's a very nice place.

We were here for an event nearby and stayed two nights. We were happy to have all the room to spread out in. Full size fridge, two burner stove and a little office area to set up you internet. This place had a great breakfast that changed from day to day. First morning we had hot cakes and sausage and the second morning we had french toast and fried potato. This place has free gated parking for its guest. Would stay here again.

As someone who is very picky about hotels I thought our room was very clean. It was the perfect amount of room for my husband and I and our two kids. We spent the day shopping downtown and was nice to stay somewhere quiet without hearing people yelling in the middle of the night like you do when you stay in the city. It was a little expensive, but probably not bad for the size of the room and what we would have paid for a comparable hotel downtown. It was also a quick drive from Safeco field and to Bellvue for shopping the next day. There is shopping just down the street and they have a continental breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

I went to Seattle, Redmond specifically, for a conference at Microsoft HQ. The conference hotel was about 20 miles south of Microsoft, so I looked closer. It took me less than 10 minutes in traffic to get to my conference every day, so the location is perfect.

The room was a bit smaller than I had hoped, but big enough for what we needed. It had a full-sized fridge, 2 burner stove, microwave, sink, and cooking and eating dishes. There was a desk to work at (although you had to sit with your back to the door), a sofa bed, and a queen bed in a nook.

The room was clean and well kept, with no major damage or issues. The high-speed internet was OK, but was difficult to connect with on occasion. However, I could check my email and my wife could check Facebook, so it was OK.

The free breakfast was average. At least, the food was real; no powdered eggs and plastic bacon; but it was only average, nothing to write home about.

The pool was closed because it was outdoor, so I don't know anything about that. It looked rather large, though.

If you're going shopping, this is a great location. Redmond Town Center has many good shops and restaurants. Our big complaint was that the coffee shops closed at 8:00 pm! But it was only a 15 minute drive to downtown Seattle, so that was convenient, also.

This hotel is slightly different from other Residence Inns as it has 6 Floors and resembles a standard hotel more than a Residence Inn.

None the less, I spent 25 days here and apart from the incessant rain, my stay was comfortable. The hotel is well located and the Mall is within a few minutes of walking. There are some nice trails around and there is a nice fitness center inside. There is a pool (closed due to the season) and a Jacuzzi.

I would have preferred a one bedroom, but could only get a one room suite. The room is comfortable and there is a sleeper sofa. The kitchen is adequate and is well equipped. There is a high counter with two high chairs and a work desk and chair. The only downside, if any is that the mattress would need replacement soon, not uncomfortable but getting there. The TV is also dated. Many hotels are switching to high definition sets and this is becoming the standard. High speed internet is acceptable, although I noticed it getting much slower as the hotel fills up.

Breakfast is a standard Residence Inn meal, a wide variety of hot and cold, no complaints here, except a slight increase in the waist line.

Reception, kitchen and cleaning staff, were pleasant and friendly. Checking in was easy and you credit card is deducted as your balance hits $1000.

Parking is sufficient and free and entrance is controlled by your room key.

There is a small convenience shop onsite for light food and drink purchases. There are many restaurants within walking distance.

The cozy hotel is located next to the Redmond town center. There are many restaurants and shops with in walking distance. The hotel breakfast was OK. There is also a small market at hotel lobby to buy some food and to cook it in the room, which is nice if you do not mind to eat out every night. The hotel has a small gym. A nice detail there was a selection of fruits available. There is also a outdoor pool which was not open.

The room was large and clean and included basic kitchen. As a nice detail there was micro pop corns and a micro wave oven to cook them. There was also a free Internet connection available in the room, but it was slow. As minor negative detail the elevator is very slow.
