We stayed in the lodgings attached to this restaurant, so it was a "no-brainer" to have dinner here after hiking around Mt. Rainier Nat'l Park all day. The food was VERY good,& even my vegan diet daughter had a tasty meal. The drinks were nice & the whole atmosphere was comfortable & welcoming. The staff were pleasant and the "locals" shared conversation & hike ideas with us "tourist types". We enjoyed being in Randle and would definitely recommend it as a good "base camp" area if you plan hiking around the parks for a few days--Mt. St. Helen's was close as well as Packwood Lake & Mt. Adams.

This was worth the drive from Packwood for breakfast and dinner. Very friendly service, no wonder the locals frequent this place. They also chatted amiably with us "tourists". Desserts looked inviting, but after the generous dinner, we had no room!

A member of our party has severe celiac disease. They were the only restaurant in the area that were accommodating her dietary needs. Also, the food was fabulous.

The first time I ate broasted chicken. It was very tasty and the portions were huge. Even the breast was moist. I saved enough for lunch the next day.

Stopped in during a work run, been here before, but the menu has improved significantly since then. Lyndsi was the perfect waitress, attention to detail with appropriate recommendations. Their 'Windy Ridge' hot beef sandwich hit the spot, nice crisp salad on the side was an excellent addition. I liked it so much, that on my return run, later yesterday, I ate dinner there as well. Grilled steak - perfection personified ... we'll be staying at this motel / restaurant when we come to the mountains with the grandkids - RECOMMENDED!
