Beautiful place, lovely location - even in the rain. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Only problem we had was no WI-fi in our non-renovated (but quite comfortable) room in the Lakeside building. Supposed to be there, per the staff, but in three days they were unable to fix it. Wi-fi in the main lodge and in other buildings in the complex but not ours. We were there on a Groupon coupon, so the price was certainly right. One note: Weekdays - at least during off-season times - are relaxing and not crowded. Weekends are extremely crowded and busy. There's not much else up in that area, so it seems to be a magnet for everyone in the area! Second note: Take earplugs. The walls and floors are really thin! Which reminds me, it would be a good idea to ask for a top floor room with nobody tramping around above you!
The Roosevelt Dining Room in the lodge has taken some hits from other reviewers. We found it to be fine and reasonably priced - especially considering the remote location and captive audience. No complaints here. (But the nearby Salmon House was better!)
