My family of 4 was there for a wedding. Excellent staff that should be very proud of their customer service. All the staff we encountered were genuinely friendly & helpful. Rooms were very nice and clean. We had a suite as we needed an extra bed. The price was only $20 more which we figured a rollaway bed would have been about that much anyway. Nice to have the extra room, but wouldn't have been necessary as the rooms were spacious. The breakfast was one of the best we've encountered. Plenty of food & variety. Someone was constantly checking that everything was stocked. Lots of tables available, which isn't always so in other hotels. Very easy to locate and close to the fairgrounds & downtown. Very enjoyable experience.

Cheerleading competition, the tacoma hotel was booked, however, this hotel was amazing.... Perfect or families, business, really anything. Location is convenient surprisingly. Near fair grounds, near shopping, near food.

Service was impeccable. Rooms were clean and refreshingly bright.

The breakfast was a hit and the free coffee and cookie bar was a hit too.

The pool was clean and nice.

Recommend to anyone heading down that way.

This hotel is well run and clean. All staff is professional and friendly. Drew and Jacob were very helpful for all aspects of our stay. They recommended places to walk and eat.

I agree with other comments, it was just like home only the breakfasts were better.

Room Tip: Ask not to be placed by young children or elevators

Simply put, this is the finest Fairfield Inn that I have had the pleasure of staying at. I might go so far as to say that this might be the best hotel in the Marriott chain period. The rest of the chain could/should use this as the model hotel.
I have spent many hundreds of nights in hotels around the country and I don’t have any complaints with this hotel.
The front desk staff (Drew, Alan, Brett) are always on top of their game from arrival to departure. They make me feel extremely welcome and a valued guest. Not just the first time but every time I walk in the door.

The rooms are clean and spacious with an ideal work area separate from the sleeping area. TV’s are all flat panel with a wide range of channels from Direct TV. The bathroom and shower areas are spotless and well stocked. The rooms all have a small fridge, microwave and coffee machine.

The hotel has a small pool, spa and exercise room that are also clean and spotless.

The hotel serves a hot breakfast every morning with a variety of choice to suit your dietary needs. There is always a bowl of fresh fruit, coffee, tea and juices to choose from.
The hotel is a short drive from the local mall and accompanying restaurants and entertainment. The fair grounds are a very short walk down the road. The local “main street” is also a short walk/drive with some wonderful pubs and restaurants. The lack of a restaurant in the hotel is not an issue as I find most hotel food on the bad side.

I also can’t fail to mention the complementary USA Today, local paper, cookies and coffee that are available 24/7.

It may not be as glamorous as a full Marriott or JW Marriott but what they do offer is friendly staff, extremely clean rooms and personal attention. The excellent staff makes this the place to stay in Puyallup.

I have stayed here twice during sew expo. Outstanding. Service is warm and friendly. Breakfasts are the best I have had of any hotels with a continental breakfast. Scrambled eggs with bacon or sausage every morning along with jimmy dean sandwiches, yogurts (several brands) fruit cups, variety of breads and muffins, cereals and plenty of tables to accommodate everyone. Fresh cookies all day!
This hotel is within walking distance to the fairgrounds. Some guests chose to drive but I arrived before they turned into the parking lot. This is a great place to stay for the annual sew expo in early March as you can come and go all day. This is now my go to place during the conference.

Room Tip: I have only stayed on the upper floor but never heard anyone else. this year we were located near elevator and I did not hear any noise from that.
