When we entered Farm 12 at 12:30pm on Martin Luther King's holiday, we were surprised at how loud the crowded restaurant was. We would have had difficulty talking across the table. Once it is that loud, everybody has to speak louder to be heard, just adding to the problem. The noise level was uncomfortable.
Our second surprise was that there was a 40 minute wait to be seated, and we heard from our friends that service was slow. We envisioned a 60 minute or longer wait just to get food. We could not wait that long and left.
We went to another restaurant, were surprised to be seated immediately and were surprised to have our food served within 10 minutes.
