It's an institution for a reason. A blast on game day with entire staff and almost every customer in Crimson and Gray! Exceptionally friendly and helpful service. Large menu with so many delicious items. German potato pancakes, American pancakes, excellent coffee - French Press or specialty, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. Abelskivers are a unique treat. Get the homemade raspberry jam for your toast.

I came in with a group of friends about a month ago. The staff was extremely welcoming and accommodated the six of us with patience and ease. We all ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice, which is pressed right in the dining room. Everyone loved the food and no one left hungry! The homey atmosphere makes for a great spot to enjoy friends, family, and great food.

OER is outstanding! Unfortunately there is waiting line but it is well worth it! Breakfast with FRESH squeezed orange juice, great pancakes, and the "required" vebelschinzers (I can't remember how to spell this delicacy!)! Service is always top notch, the bacon crisp, and the French press coffee is hot!

This really is a nice place for breakfast and is worth waiting for as long as the line is not too long. The French press coffee is great.

I've been going here for years, and I think the restaurant keeps continuing to improve. They have a new omelette that is really yummy and fairly healthy. They also have great sandwiches and delicious tomato basil soup, and I think all the breakfast items are very different from other restaurants in the area. The atmosphere is very comfortable and family style. They have a room in the back for larger groups. A great place to meet friends, family, co-workers... the only drawback is there is not a lot of parking at lunch time. And it's usually packed around 8 to 11 on the weekend.
