“Not so much.....”
Reviewed April 28, 2012

3rd night of our visiting colleges in Washington State found us in Pullman. Read good comments about the Holiday Inn, so booked it. Well was ok, just ok. Had 2 beds, a hillside view, but nothing special or particularly nice. Oh wait, got to pick a candy from the basket as Holiday Inn frequent guest program! They have in inside pool, which we checked out but the 3 kids were so loud, we didn't stay or remember much. It's an inside pool. Did not workout in the tiny room of 1 treadmill.
Breakfast was standard fare and crowded with families & teams, as this must be the majority of their business.
Probably would try another place, should my son end up going to school in Pullman.

Room Tip: None. Maybe ask for backside of hotel.

We stayed two nights at this hotel during a spring break college tour with my daughter. The hotel is very close to WSU and an easy drive to the University of Idaho.

The hotel seemed fairly clean and we enjoyed the nightly cookies and milk. The breakfasts were typical HI Express.

The front desk staff were very helpful with suggesting places to eat and driving directions.

Would definitely stay here in the future.

Stayed two nights on a busy visit to WSU so did not spend much time at the hotel. The staff was helpful with directions and such. The breakfast was OK. The lobby homey and the rooms were good. 10-15 minute (not too scenic) walk to campus. No complaints overall and would stay there again if the occasion arises.

Stayed at holiday inn during mothers weekend at WSU.
The best Holiday inn I have stayed at yet. Clean, pleasant staff, great free breakfast, close to WSU, small clothing shop with souvenirs and WSU cheese :).
Free shuttle to and from WSU.
Cookies and milk at night.
Sat by fire in livingroom and read the paper while having a glass of wine.
Made you feel so homey. Rooms were normal for a Holiday Inn Express.
I would return next time I'm in Pullman for sure.

Spent a night here while doing a tour of WSU. Seems to be one of the closer hotels to the campus. One could likely walk to the stadium in 15-20 minutes, but you don't need to as they have a free shuttle bus. The facility is newer and tastefully decorated. Our room was very clean and well appointed. The breakfast buffet was pretty good for lobby service. Hot premade eggs and sausage patties as well as cereals and fruits. Only negative we noticed was the walls are a bit thin. Might be an issue for light sleepers on a busy night.

We arrived just in time for cookies and milk after driving for 7 hour with a toddler. We booked through a different service, thus they didn't get the information about not placing us on the bottom floor. The front desk staff moved our room upon check in and was very helpful about the surrounding area. During our stay the staff responded to our requests in a very timely manner. The pool was great to play with my child in. It is indoor and not supper warm, thus jumping into the hot tub to warm up was a requirment.

The downside:
1) The staff makes up the rooms late in the afternoon, thus for two days we didn't get our room made up, even when I specifically asked upon leaving our room in the morning for the beds to be made, due to afternoon nap time.

2) When we were packing to leave, we found old pop bottles under the bed. Makes me wonder what else hadn't been cleaned recently.

3) Although the pillows are marked hard and soft, there really did not seem to be a difference, thus bringing our own pillows was a life saver.

Nice hotel. Only complaints I have are the bed was too firm for me, and the free cookies and milk at night was not very good. The cookies were piled on each other while they were still warm, so they all stuck together and it became a mess. Then they ran out of milk. The AC was a little loud too, but the thermostat seem to work well which is a rarity in a hotel room.
